To move mom into assisted living (memory care) was one of the toughest decisions I’ve had to make in all my 55 years. Words can’t express how helpful Mike Cude was from his willingness to show me any facility I wanted to visit (over a six month period where I couldn’t move forward), to the encouragement he gave in my making the right decisions, culminating in the facilitation of our move. My only regret is that I didn’t listen to Mike, on the front end, and make the decision sooner. As Mike said in our first discussion “there will be a time when you want to stop being a caregiver and go back to being a son”. He was right, it is certainly a good feeling have a little of Mom back in my life.
