This place is absolutely disgusting. Was yelled at by a nurse. Filthy floors & walls. Spilled medicine & dried blood on the floor. Patients yelling at staff. Staff yelling at patients. Staff yelling at staff. I walked in at 9pm & wandered the halls for several minutes unattended. My mom was transferred from a cardiac hospital & dumped in a dirty room for over 1 hour without being tended to. The window was wide open in the room along with unused equipment. Needless to say she did not stay 1 night there. DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!

My sister was here for 4 days before we forcefully yanked her out. Her physical and mental condition deteriorated quickly after being placed in a room with an abusive inpatient. We visited every day and brought home cooked food as their offerings were not palatable, probably just passing the minimum nutritional requirements. On our last visit, I noticed blood on the sleeve of her shirt, and when I lifted the material, found a large, dirty, crusted over skin tear that had obviously neither been seen or tended to. As my sister had dementia, she couldn't tell us anything of what she was experiencing as an inpatient. When confronted, management stated she was given good care, that she'd had PT, all her meds as well as meals, and was doing well.. and they'd never seen us visit. We faithfully logged in and out each day, and when trying to log out the final day, the previous sign-in sheets were gone - presumably management verifying our claim and/or covering their tracks. The clothing we had provided was gone, replaced with ill-fitting clothes (albiet clean) from their laundry. I would never promote this facility as anything other than a warehouse of broken humanity and will forever regret her placement there.

The staff of the memory care unit are absolutely wonderful. They love the residents, know them all by name, and are wonderful to them. Amazingly the unit has a happy fun vibe. I'm so grateful my father was cared for by them. We will forever be grateful for their kind care for our father.

I would not advise this place to ANYONE!! Please visit in person before sending someone or picking this place for yourself. It smells of urine and cigarette smoke, the residents bathrooms are disgusting, it’s hard to tell who works there because most of them are dressed in regular street clothes. When you ask for assistance is an attitude and you’re put off. Residents have their call lights on for hours before getting assistance. It’s really a sad sight to see how they are treated. I honestly didn’t want to give any stars because they are not deserving of one.

My Mom has been a resident within the long term skilled nursing unit for 4 years. While much of the staff are compassionate and caring, other members of the staff are incompetent or not fully trained apparently. Over the last year numerous times I've found my 90 year old Mom's oxygen tank empty. When I reported it too management they were very concerned and assured me it would never happen again. It then happened at least 2 more times afterwards when I noticed while visiting. I can only imagine it's happened many other times as I'm not there every day.

Then the final straw occurred last week when they were transferring her with the Hoyer Lift and dropped her causing her to break her right hip! At her age/condition she's not a good candidate for surgery and so now she may be bed ridden for the rest of her life. Unbelievable! My Mom enjoyed activities such as bingo and resident parties but now she may never leave her bed again. And the best part was I wanted to move her to a facility closer to me last December but I was talked out of it by staff as they were concerned that with her mild onset of dementia the move would be too much for her. Obviously I should've moved her!

The upper management/nursing staff is very good or reaching out to me when needed for concerns, but what good is that if the front line staff don't understand basic duties, such as checking oxygen tanks or operating Hoyer Lifts? This has turned into a disaster. Do not send your loved ones there!
