Doctor and staff were all wonderful and attentive! Short waiting time was also a bonus along with a clean facility. The only thing that I could suggest and would be beneficial would have been to receive some written/printed out instructions for my care/treatment plan at home as it can be hard to remember all the details the doctor stated to do with changes every 4 weeks over the next 12 weeks as I heal and move forward. Otherwise great experience and I appreciated he took the time to educate on vitamins that would be beneficial. I would recommend Dr. Sander to family and friends!

I had a total knee replacement 6 weeks ago and this was my follow up visit.
The office lobby and patient check-in was a bit chaotic and I had to wait 35 minutes to see Dr. Sander (this was the only wait in all my visits to his offices).
Dr. Sander sat and talked with me for 15+ minutes. He listened and responded and didn't rush me out the door. My surgery was excellent, my recovery was fast and, after that first week, relatively painless. Physical Therapy (at Total Rehab) has been wonderful, has gotten me back to doing everything and anything I want to do. I couldn't be more please with Dr. Sander and my surgery from start to finish!

Extremely happy with the staff and Dr. Sanders. He attentively listened to my concerns over my knee injury and my required recovery due to my job which is very athletic in movement. I would enthusiasticly recommend Dr. Sanders and his staff based on my experience.

UPDATE: I have since had my surgery with Dr. Sanders and am in recovery. Dr. Sanders continues to be a doctor that listens to me as a patient and my recovery is comming along extremely well considering the extent of my damage. At this point I have the out most confidence in my athletic abilities (which will be required in my line of work, and in my quality of life) once my therapy and recovery is completed based on my continued progress. I have since my last posting raised my review to a 5 star as it is my nature to not always rate the highest (I am a retired United States Marine Gunnery Sergeant) based on "we can always improve." On the same note, I now rate Dr. Sanders at a 5 star based on my continued experience with him.

I had an appointment for 1 p.m. today and was taken into the exam room by 1:20 to be interviewed by the Orthopedic Resident! His interview included asking me how I injured my ankle, signs and symptoms i have been experiencing since the injury! He left the room telling me Dr Sander would be coming in to examine my ankle! Within minutes Dr. Sander came in to examine my ankle, ask questions and give me some options needed for treating my condition. His approach and information as to what was needed to heal my ankle trauma was concise, straightforward and easy for me to understand! I was out by 2 p.m. and must say a job well done by all the employees I encountered today!

Dr. Sander did my total shoulder replacement and did an excellent job on it. I have had no problems since the surgery and healing very well.
If you need help on your shoulder he is the one I would select to help you.

I found the medical staff to be responsive and caring to my condition.

HOWEVER, that is not true of the office staff. I got the MRI on 12/14/20 but received no response of the results. I called your office twice and left messages. I also sent an email through your sight and received no reply. I had to go to the Weslaco office to get action. IN ADDITION, when I went to my initial appointment I called the numbers on the door sign to gain entry but had no return calls. Both calls went to voice mail but no one called back. At my appointment time I went inside to let the staff know I was there. This area is in critical need of improvement.
