Saline County Health Department

My nurses were very kind and compassionate. The wait was long yes, but this service is vital to women’s health and provides care to those who can’t afford it otherwise. I recently lost my health insurance and needed to have my IUD removed urgently. The nurse practitioner explained everything, gave me options, and even held my hand when I needed it. I did not feel rushed even though the lobby was full and I appreciated that.

Is most laziest and awful state health department. I have ever dealt with county. Whatever you want to call it, they would not even get off their butts to ask another employee what the state insurance name was called. You can't go there and get help with medical. You can't walk in and get shots. You get judged for make an appointment. The absolute worst health department I've ever dealt with. They send all their people to d.H, s, thanks, so let's just crowd up d.H s with stuff when y'all are the health department so heaven forbid they would know about health care

the ladies are great, but they're systems needs an update. Timing and the wait is way behind.

i’ve never had any problems with this place but last week was ridiculous. i made an appointment a few weeks in advance to replace my birth control. they had me confirm my appointment multiple times and the DAY BEFORE my appointment. they made me wait an hour past my appointment time and THEN informed me they don’t have any nexpalnon to replace mine with. sounds like something i should’ve been informed of before the appointment so i didn’t sit there for nothing. very poor on their part.

A very clean place with nice staff. I have had to come here on a few occasions when the kids lost their insurance due to the ineptitude of the Saline County DHS office. Quick and easy to get shots here most days for a minimal charge. Usually cheaper than the pediatrician office charges. The WIC staff are also very helpful and friendly too.

I have had it with this place they have lost my daughters information!!! You call two weeks in advance and they never put you in!!! You take of work and they tell you, you don't have an appointment!! They give you the complete run around!!! These people lost her shot records all together which means her personal information is just laying around some where!!! I'm so pissed off at this place!!!! So reporting these people!!!

Rudest receptionists, and completely unorganized. I’d use the wic only office in west Little Rock and save your time. Completely unprofessional. Don’t expect to get anything done. I had to go to their office three times over the same issue due to them not doing something right.

Came here at Monday morning in October for flu shots for myself and my child. Besides the usual paperwork, took 60 seconds from paperwork drop off to getting the RN/Medical Assistant(didn't ask) who gave us our shots. Child pediatrician said it would be 10-14 day wait for a spot to see them for flu shots. Even the front desk was familiar with Guilllan Barre. Quite impressed.
