My aunt and father was a pt of Salinas Valley Post Acute. Everyone was so friendly there.
Social Worker Monique helped find my aunt a new home to go to when my aunt was previously living in her car. I must say my aunt was sad to leave but grateful for all the help and support she needed to be back on her feet again.
My father loved it there especially being in the activities room where it was nothing but positive vibes. With that being said I would definitely recommend bringing your family here.

This facility should be reported to the state for how they run it. My father is at their facility and they will gibe me no info or status on him and are extremely rude. They have no legal paperwork stating that they cannot provide info on my own father, but continue to push me aside and not respond to my numerous calls. Looks as if I will be forced to get the state involved. AVOID this shady and filthy place. They should be shut down. Was Finally able to get ahold of Laquisha, only to be treated horribly and berated over the phone. She pretty much told me she's too busy and for me to "do what I have to do". If she's treating me this way, Lord only knows how bad she treats patients. Will be contacting her supervisor and the state board to file a formal complaint against her personally.

Quit ignoring residents and help them. If it's to much get out of there where you shouldn't work around others. Help LAUREN get her proper care. So many and not only Lauren others there but you are neglecting your residents.
CLOSE down and send your residents with caring, professional staff who know and don't mind doing what needs to be done to help residents ?

There are people that work here like Fatima, CNA. That should never work with the public or people with needs. I came in for physical therapy. I asked her to take away the fruit that went bad in my room last night and she threatened me if I wanted breakfast. My stay her is not by anyway free. This is probably the worst skilled nursing facility in all of Monterey county.

Salinas Valley is right next to the Medical Center and makes a convenient place of recovery after a hospital stay. The management team here is great and truly listen to your individual needs.

Terrible. Fraud. Neglect. Abuse. Evil. This place is ignoring their patients. Look at how the owner is only responding to “5 star reviews” and ignoring the negative reviews. No sense of care. Tells you a lot right there.

Salinas Valley Post Acute was a wonderful experience for my family. We have been to other skilled nursing in the past and had some skilled nursing PTSD from the last time we put our mother into one.
Nursng staff was very attentive and physical therapy team did a wonderful job in supporting, and encouraging my mother to walk again after her fall. Even after the admissions process, Ashley continued to check on our mother, providing us updates and was happy to help her with FaceTime when we were able to come in to see her face-to-face. Ashley was very sweet and honest about what to expect with our mother journey to recovery. Always happy to answer any questions and always addressing our concerns right away. This eased our anxiety, helping us to focus on our mother goals.
