RUN AWAY...don't book!!! They have a policy of " double booking" so they might call you the day of your appointment to tell you that you will be sharing your appt with another person seeking help., If that doesn't work for you and you tell them you will reschedule they will tell you it's a $75. Fee bc you didn't change 24 hours in advance .., yeah bc they just told you you would be double booked. So you get 1/2 the benefit of your therapist but they charge your insurance the same!!!PURE GREED, doesn't benefit client or therapist ..,call owner Gail and tell her what you think of her policies...HORRIBLE PRACTICE .., go where you are respected as a human being.

Great therapists. I had Jim most of the time, and he was awesome. I had some chronic shoulder and back issues that are now resolved with the exercises he gave me!

My only complaint is with the office. Some of the employees are unreliable when it comes to scheduling and cancellations. You have to be on top of them. Ask for printed schedules of your appointments if you can. The therapists make it worth the trouble!

Firstly I'd like to say thank you, because my knee feels great, and I'm able to compete again on Beat Master. So thank you Jim (Physical Therapist). Secondly thank you to the staff, and team because your awesome, and you kept my experience comical, yet professional in which helped me to forget about my torn meniscus. Lastly people just check them out. Their young professionals with great intentions, and well educated. Pure awesome. 😏

I was referred by a specialist for pain in my hips and thighs when walking. The therapists were excellent and I learned a lot from them.

My problems came with the office. They were intermittently helpful in getting appoints. But they were sloppy and unreliable about reminders. This place also charges full rates for missed appointments, when they didn't remind me.

I called them and told them what happened and was told they would remove the charge. They didn't do it. I have been treated badly by them and would never go back.

There are a lot of good physical therapists and most of them have back offices that are actually helpful and responsive.

I am so relieved to be treated at Rehab Specialists by Gail Pekelis. In my world, her other name is PT Genius. Whatever goes wrong with my body, she can fix. I was in agony over a frozen arm, saw many doctors, had tests, nothing. Gail somehow knows what to do, where to push, and how to do it. After two visits I was no longer in agony and able to use my arm again. While hospitalized for another problem, an ultrasound required me to do various clenching exercises. That caused a tweaked muscle in my hip. Couldn't walk, couldn't stand, total agony. Had to use a cane but was in too much pain even for that to help. Within a few visits, Gail had unkinked the muscles, soothed the nerve, and relieved the pain. She's, as I said, a PT Genius. And none of this is the main reason I go--Lymphedema, the after breast cancer surgery condition that never heals. She provides manual lymph drainage and helps breaks up the fibrotics that form, reducing my mobility and causing clenched muscles in my back and underarm. She provides so much help, healing, and kindness that I am better able to tolerate whatever physical issues plague me. I couldn't function without her. She has several clinic locations, and they're all warm and welcoming with top-notch equipment. There are a variety of specialists, all with advanced degrees, who can provide ongoing help for minor to major ailments. It's a great place with a stellar staff. I'm so lucky they were recommended to me by the doctors at UCLA who treated my breast cancer.
