Horrible experience and a waste of time. I was nauseous for several days before seeking help. The hours online for rapid care stated that they opened at 8am when in reality it was 730am. I arrived at 8am and was checked in reasonably quick by the lady at front desk. She was friendly enough and explained that the provider was late and not at work yet (glad I didn’t arrive at 7:30). Shortly after I was sent into the exam room and had my vitals checked as well as swabs to test what might be making me sick.

I sat in the exam room for over an hour while on the verge of vomiting and nobody checked on me. I ended up laying out some paper towels on the counter so I had somewhere to rest my head and wipe the sweat beading off my face. Meanwhile, I can hear every word being said at the nurses station. I heard them mention how late the provider was and how each patient was only going to be allowed to address one issue so they could catch up. I also had to listen to one of the nurses talk about her dating life and some guy she met online. Not a big deal, but I felt like it was unprofessional to discuss within earshot of patients.

Finally, the provider shows up and I can tell she’s in a rush. Never introduced herself, mask covering her face and badge was turned the wrong way so I can’t even tell you her name. After talking to me for about 5 minutes she says there’s nothing she can do for me and to go to ER if I didn’t improve in a couple days. I asked about getting a prescription to help with the nausea and she said she didn’t feel comfortable prescribing anything since she didn’t have any bloodwork on file. Said to stay hydrated, eat a bland diet, which I told her I was already doing . No order for bloodwork, no recommendation for an over the counter nausea medication or any suggestions to help me feel better. I told her I recently had a blood panel done, but haven’t established care with a primary physician yet to review those results and I could show them to her. She stared blankly and was slightly apologetic before letting me out of the exam room. ZERO help. I wish I stayed home and saved my money.

UPDATE: I emailed the addresses given in the “owner’s” response and received an email asking for my name, date of birth and a good number for the clinical manager to contact me at. Nobody ever called to resolve any of this! Instead, I was sent an additional email asking to leave an internal review of my experience. Guess it just goes to show how little they care and can be trusted. Zero integrity and a poor attempt to make things right.

If i could give ZERO stars i would!! I was referred to go to the Lakeport Rapid care facility by my ENT surgeon. My surgeon is unavailable to see me until next week. My surgeon is Adventist affiliated and recommended I go to rapid care to have my lungs Listened to as I feel burning in my lungs but no other symptoms. Surgeon wanted someone to just listen to my lungs before the weekend. I do not feel bad enough to go to the ER and am not short of breathe which is why my ENT said go to rapid care if my PCP could not get my in. Provider at rapid care refused to see me and said she wasn't comfortable seeing me. I have always used adventis providers and have nothing but great service until today. I will never attempt to use this service again!!! I would strongly discourage anyone from using this facility as it seems the provider is unable to care for patients.

I took my son for an issue. The PA who saw him seemed put off by the reason we were there. I explained that I had called his pediatrician for an appointment and they were the ones who told me we should go to rapid care because they didn’t have an opening for a week. This just irritated him more. He complained that it was not the appropriate place for my son to be seen and did not examine him. He simply made an assumption as to the diagnosis and sent us home with instructions and having made us feel like we had wasted his time. Fast forward 4 months. My son told me he was still experiencing the same problem (an issue that was different for him to bring to my attention again due to its delicate nature), so I made an appointment with his pediatrician. My son ended up having a bad infection that requires surgery. I’ll never go back again and I would advise that you avoid this clinic too. I would have give zero stars, but in order to post I had to give at least one.

I showed up during business hours and was refused and sent away. The receptionist said they didn't have enough providers.

Not rapid. Little care. I am the wife related to this email address. Friday 8am February 17, 2023. Was checked in within 5 minutes. The clerk was easy to talk to and was mildly friendly and seemed efficient at her job. All downhill from there. Medical assistant checked my vitals, and said “provider” would be in to see me. Over a half hour later, falling asleep in the little room, I had been in this clinic for over an hour with no “provider” in sight. I could hear employees outside my door saying they are not to use the word “boring”. This female employee then spelled out S L O W.
I used the restroom, then told the Asst that checked me in that “an hour was enough”. She snapped at me “You were in the bathroom!” . She announced this to a roomful of people. I was not in the bathroom for an hour (just a few minutes). Embarrassingly, my medical condition has me in the ladies room a lot. I did not appreciate this woman violating my HIPPA medical privacy laws. You wasted 2 hours of my life (including 1 hr round trip to Clearlake)
and provided no medical care. Not rapid by any stretch of the imagination . I hate going to Clearlake Adventist as the employees exhibit a rudeness I cannot tolerate. I will share my experiences with everyone I know.

Very quick and efficient, was in and out in 30 minutes. Everyone was nice, unfortunately the pharmacy wouldn't give me my medication unless I paid full price for the inhaler. Screwed up the insurance somehow. But I did get the other medication (won't use Rite Aid again)

I've been there several times the staff are always on point and very respectful female doctor ? she was let's say very physically into it like making it a point to rub extra and place the body as close as she can it was awkward but funny ? like calm down doc ? Dr Hamid was amazing ? ? oh and the vibe of decor is happy ?
