My mother has resided in both the skilled nursing and personal care facilities at Sugar Creek over the past eleven months. One of our family members has visited daily, and we have nothing but praise and appreciation for the great care she has received. Both buildings are very clean and well maintained. The staff members are friendly and helpful and compassionate with my mom, even on difficult days. The facilities offer a variety of activities, weekly church services, and even a beauty shop! No one wants to sign loved ones into a nursing home, but we are glad we chose Sugar Creek when the need arose.

My dad has been at Sugar Creek Skilled Nursing for almost two yrs now. The staff has taken great care of him and the administration has been wonderful to deal with. The couple of issues we've had, they've taken care of right away! The staff is always so friendly and always say hello and/or stop in to visit my dad! Their therapists are very personable and work with my dad with exactly what he needs. Kayla, his speech therapist even downloaded Morse code on her laptop for him, since that was what he did in the Korean war. I highly recommend this facility! Ashton, the activities director always has something fun for them to do and Lisa the Admissions Director is always helpful and kind! I wish I could name all of them up there who not only daily take care of my dad, but two yrs ago were very helpful and kind getting my dad admitted and adjusted to his new home! As well as helping us, his family get adjusted too!

Staff for the most part are exceptional. This is one of the best nursing homes around. The facility is VERY clean and meals look amazing. They have activities for the seniors living there and they are always looking out for everyone’s best interests. Highly recommend this facility to anyone that has to find a new home for a loved one.

Please do not send your loved on here. My Dad went there for therapy due to a fall. At first they told us the he was doing really well, only to change their story a few weeks later and told us he was declining. We found out that the nurses were drugging him with morphine at night because they said they were short staffed and didn’t have anyone to look in on him. If they are short staffed, why are they still accepting patients? Also, he was left alone in his wheelchair (due to short staffing, the nurse told us she went to get someone to help her) and he fell out onto the concrete floor and had to be rushed to the hospital for care and stitching. He passed away three weeks after the fall. They also have no one there who understand the levels of thickening diet required for someone with swallowing problems. We have now been waiting five months for his medical records after several calls requesting them and getting a different story from several people we’ve been transferred around to. Hmmmm. I feel like they are hiding something. Sad.

I have been visiting this facility on a daily basis for the past 3 months and I would highly recommend! The staff in each department is friendly and professional. They respond in a timely manner and treat the residents with respect and compassion. They have provided me with help (and patience) with the steps involved getting a loved one admitted.

My parents have been residents at Quality Life Services - Sugar Creek for over six years. My mother suffers from dementia. My father had multiple health issues. The staff provides exceptional care and treats each resident with compassion, respect, support, and love. The facility is incredibly well-designed and kept immaculately clean. The various support teams keep residents actively engaged. Our family is eternally grateful we were led to Sugar Creek. Our parents' quality of life there has been wonderful.

When I found out that I was being transferred here from a Pittsburgh area hospital following a motor vehicle accident, I was not quite sure what to expect. What I found was an excellent facility, competent and friendly staff, and a level of care that I did not expect. If one of my parents needed to come to a skilled nursing facility I would have absolutely no problem deciding which one they would go to. It would definitely be this one. Everyone, from the housekeeping staff to the kitchen crew to the nurses aides to the nurses themselves go above and beyond the call to ensure the comfort and well-being of the residents here. I have been so impressed by this facility and the administrators that I am coming back here to work as an activities aide once I am discharged.
