Before I started working with Naomi, I was having trouble doing what I loved: running. The fact that she works directly with me - and not some assistant - made me decide to start physical therapy again. Her initial assessment was tremendously helpful and our ongoing sessions continue to build my strength.

I look forward to my sessions and Naomi always takes the time to ensure I am making the right progress. She’s great at challenging me in a kind way to keep getting stronger too. That's a rare skill.

I am stronger and running again. Naomi has helped me get in the best shape of my life - and feel grateful to work with her. I wouldn't hesitate to make the same decision to get therapy with Pro+Kinetix
over and over again.

Thank you to Naomi and the team for making my life better.

I came to Dr. Naomi after years of battling IT band issues that flared up any time I tried to get back into running. Dr. Naomi quickly got to the root of the issue and gave me a workout/stretching regimen to address it. When we started working together I could run about 3-4 miles comfortably. After a few weeks of working together I gradually added miles and within 3 months was running pain free for 40-50 miles per week. At month 4, I ran a marathon and not only finished but finished faster than I had ever expected (and pain free)! I could not recommend Dr. Naomi more. She is knowledgeable, kind, and aligns her treatment with your goals. In my experience, doctors have often said to eliminate the source (in my case running) instead of finding a way through the issue. Dr. Naomi gave me a science-based approach to continue running and built a foundation for an injury-free future. If an injury is keeping you from pursuing your passion, give Pro+Kinetix a call.

Working with Dr. Rodney Alford has been nothing short of exceptional. From the very first session, it was clear that he is highly communicative and deeply invested in understanding both your physical challenges and your unique goals.

Dr. Alford has an unparalleled understanding of the human body and uses that expertise to craft personalized recovery programs. Every exercise and treatment plan is tailored not just to your condition but to what works best for your body. He takes the time to listen to feedback and makes thoughtful modifications as needed, ensuring that you’re always progressing in a way that feels effective and safe.

One of the things that truly sets Dr. Alford apart is his genuine care for patients. You get his undivided attention for the entire session—no being passed off to assistants or feeling like you're just another name on the schedule. He is a wealth of knowledge, especially when it comes to treating high-performance athletes, and knows exactly how to balance the demands of recovery and performance.

Another standout quality is his accessibility. If you have a question or need advice between sessions, Dr. Alford is always approachable and responsive, providing support that extends far beyond the clinic.

Beyond all of that, working with Dr. Alford is genuinely enjoyable. He creates a positive, encouraging environment that motivates you to push through the hard work of recovery while making the process as pleasant as possible.

If you’re serious about your recovery or performance goals and want someone who is as committed to them as you are, I couldn’t recommend Dr. Alford more highly.

Caring, empathetic and professional physical therapy found here!

I love competiting and being the best i cam be. I swam in college and have struggle with some knee issues since then. I was able to work it out in college but post college picked up running and obstacle racing and it got exponentially worse. To the point that I wasn't able to do a good squat, was afraid to do somethings because of the pain. I spent the last year watching YouTube and looking for methods to help and decided to give Pro+Kinetix a try with Dr. Naomi. It was different than other programs. The first visit she showed me that the typical concern of "am i going to be stuck doing this forever and paying more than i want" was not the case with her and this program. She helped identify a plan comprising of what she thought was wrong, the minimal # of visits, how she planned on correcting it and echoed the concerns we all have.

If your on the fence about it, give the first visit a try. There are lots of discounts out there to try and see if the following is your experience.

1. Professional help: She is a doctor. Don't have false impressions from the past. She is extremely knowledgeable and doesn't force you into a cookie cutter mold. She clearly understands how different aspects of the body are tied together. She really does cover the bases of doing adjustment/correction work to loosen something up, strengthening work and technique evaluation. She made the program very progressive and spent time watching form and instituing good reps.

2. Empathetic: She strikes a reasonable balance between pushing you amd knowing when and how by continually asking for feedback on the activities, takes active noted and refreshes on the progress.

3. Trust in the process: you didn't obtain your injury overnight and it's not going to get fixed overnight. She's going to send you homework and if you don't do it, this won't be effective but she will know. She will help hold you accountable and will need your help. She will work with you to find the exercises that are within your ability and gradually increase and she will get creative. Ask her questions, she's not afraid to explain this and she has many tools to help!

Overall, my experience was great. We ended up getting to a point of no pain, more distance being run, more movements that previously hurt but now are pain free in 2 less visits than needed. If I injured myself again, I would have no concerns about going back.

I came to Dr. Naomi with hamstring pain a few months ago. I am training for a marathon so it was becoming difficult to run. After seeing Dr. Naomi and following her program it helped me immensely to continue to train with my hamstring issues, now I am running pain free.

I injured my lower back lifting heavy and spent the night in the ER. Dr.Naomi had me back on my feet and moving like a machine in less than a month. Let me share 3 reasons why Pro+Kinetix is your best option for PT.

(1) Empathy and intentionality. If you're reading PT reviews, I hope you feel better soon. I was in your spot not long ago and it can feel very isolating and frightening. With Pro+Kinetix, from the first phone interaction, what you're going through now is validated and recognized. Not only are you providing Dr.Naomi with granular details of your affliction, but your feelings, concerns, fears, and goals are all equally considered. All sessions are one-on-one. At the start of each session, Dr.Naomi would measure my progress with rulers and movements, but also attentively listened and typed as I reflected on my progress and setbacks.

(2) Expertise. PTs are doctors. As an athlete who's dealt with many injuries in the past, let me tell you that I was humbled by the precision and effectiveness of the rehab prescribed to me. Every week, you receive a tailored regimen of movements created together with Dr.Naomi during your sessions. Pro+Kinetix isn't one-size-fits-all. It is a unique cocktail repeatedly fine-tuned to your needs, abilities, concerns, and goals.

(3) If you've read this far and not yet convinced, let me tell you why you're getting beyond what you'll pay. First off, this is our bodies we're talking about. You're never going to get younger. Every day that we're able to walk is truly a blessing. Therefore, investing in yourself is the best thing you can do even if you don't have an explicit injury, maybe even just some minor discomfort. I promise that you will leave having strengthened more than just what you came for. All PTs are certified, but you are more than just your injury. At Pro+Kinetix you're not just getting PT, your care is holistic: massages, cupping, fast response times, and a PT who truly wants to see you succeed.

None of what I typed was ChatGPT. I took the time to write this out because I am compelled to by the care I received and I hope you receive it too. Best of luck on your journey beyond your baseline and what you thought your body was capable of.

I had hurt my shoulder skiing, which was making almost any daily activity a painful nuisance. I finally went in a few weeks after my crash and had Dr. Naomi take a look. She was very thorough in testing for pain points and possible levels of injury. It was obvious I had injured my shoulder, though nothing was fully torn. I decided to start a 16 week program with progressive exercise / new movements for each week. Dr. Naomi is very good with catering to current physical ability and providing exercises / movements / manual therapy to improve that ability. Often times I'll go in PT feeling sore and inflamed, but will leave with feeling of relief in my shoulder. I am now 12 weeks in, and most of the pain in my shoulder is gone. I have gained a noticeable amount of strength and stability so far. Physical therapy is not easy, but it is 100% worth it, especially with Dr. Naomi creating effective workout plans, and a fun and motivating atmosphere.

I have been to a handful of physical therapists over the past 10 years for different injuries, and Dr. Rod at Pro+Kinetix is one of the best physical therapists I have ever worked with.
I have been lifting weights and running for some years, and I injured my knee 8 months ago after running with improper form for a while (oops). I waited some months before realizing it wasn't improving, the swelling wasn't going down, and my gym performance was suffering.
It really knocks down one's quality of life. I decided to contact different local therapists and discovered Pro+Kinetix downtown, and met Dr. Rod.

Dr. Rodney Alford is one of the most empathetic yet effective PTs I have ever worked with. He made me feel heard and understood. He spent time to truly diagnose the core of my knee injury. He figured out that my knee pain was a series of other related things: I am quad dominant, I had an incorrect foot strike, underperforming hamstrings. He didn't just treat the main symptom (knee), but found the core of the issue. This prevents such a thing from repeating and truly addresses the issue!

With Dr. Rod, I was back to running about 5 weeks after the first session and I could go longer and better.
I avoided what could have been surgery or expensive medical procedures by working with him.
For all of those waiting to see if an injury improves, thinking about PT, just go see Dr. Rod at Pro+Kinetix.
