I brought my infant in because she had a rash covering nearly all of her body except head, hands, and feet. We came to the emergency room because urgent care was closed.

My google search made me think it was hives, I’ve never had them nor did I know anything about them.

They took her oxygen and temp and weight and brought us to a room. The doctor came in for, I kid you not, 60-90 seconds. HE DID NOT LOOK AT HER SKIN! He said “we treat hives with a steroid”, placed his stethoscope twice to hear her chest and left.

The emergency room DOCTOR diagnosed, treated, and gave a prescription without even looking at the rash he was there to diagnose.

GIVING MEDICATION TO A BABY WITHOUT IDENTIFYING A CAUSE

This can’t be legal right? You can’t diagnose a rash without looking at it can you?

My google medical degree did this doctors job for him but he didn’t even verify it. And the kicker, somehow this 90 second emergency room visit cost more than what I was financially responsible for after staying in the hospital for three days with this baby in utero.

On top of this ridiculousness I STILL had to take my baby to the pediatrician the next day to CONFIRM this is hives.

When our home birth did not go as planned, they were truly an exceptional group of professionals that did an amazing job to help us through the rest of the experience. We are so thankful for them. Dr. Sullivan did everything she could to respect our birth plan.

Dr. Fiore...wonderful, great team, compassionate, caring, great bedside manner, nursing and xray team is also fabulous.
Parking...we are told to use the west entrance by ER, but there is no patient parking. Parking appears to be for staff, as cars were covered with snow at 7:30 in the morning. If there is parking, you are parking as far away as possible from the entrance, quite a difficult walk for someone who is headed for pain mgmt. Employees should be required to park on outer edges and there should be assigned patient parking which is closer to the west entrance.

Recently our elderly mother was cared for in 4D. Every person, every shift she interacted with was phenomenal, no exceptions. Family was with her most of the time and we witnessed the expertise, patience, kindness and responsiveness first hand. It could have been terrifying and it was actually a very positive experience. We are all grateful.

We had incredible care while we were in the ICU with my father after he had a massive heart attack. Every single nurse, doctor - anyone we encountered - was kind and respectful, and went out of their way to make sure that we were provided with the best care possible. We are so grateful to everyone there who helped my dad, Conrad Farner. God bless you all.

Nothing but terrible experience everytime I’ve been here. On Tuesday I brought my dad here after he was in a car accident. The Dr. was rude, barely listened, and didn’t even examine my father. For reference- his car was hit by another car, causing his to do a complete 360 spin. When asked what parts hurt, my dad said his leg and his neck, and that it all happened so fast. The dr just asked if he wanted an xray, and said, well I can tell you, your legs not broken….No shit Sherlock, nobody said that. Basically, this Dr just did not seem to care and wanted to brush him off and outta here. The nurse was very nice, she noticed my dad’s face was starting to bruise. She asked if he hit his head, he said he was unsure, maybe, it just happened so fast…well let’s fast forward….they did an xray and cr scan, took his blood pressure, and nothing else and never examined him at all, then sent us on our way. They never checked his eyes, never truly even looked him in the face. They treated him as if they couldnt care less. We had to go back to a different hospital the next day as he was showing signs of concussion. Which he did have, and this Dr actually took our concerns of my dads prior back injury and blood clots in his leg. We told the Dr at Waukesha memorial that as well and he was so unphased . It actually seemed like we were a bother to him. Cannot stress enough how terrible we were treated here. Absolutely would go anywhere else but here.

I want to thank the doctors and nurses that were absolutely EXCEPTIONAL in making our daughter Sophie feel so welcome and comfortable during her day surgery at Waukesha Memorial and they were also so accommodating to us parents. RNP Ann's patient care skills were outstanding and so were Kerri and Abby. We had informative visits from Dr. Sharma and Dr Hertner, Sophia's ENT that helped us stay reassured. Thank you all for being HEROS, dedicated and loving healthcare providers! 🙂
