I recently had an accident and needed rehabilitation services. From the moment I arrived the staff was extremely attentive to and genuinely caring with my needs. All of the Nurses, CNA’s, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Dietary staff, Activities and Housekeeping were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The Director and front office staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful when navigating the paperwork for services. Over all, this facility is great. I have no problem recommending them to anyone who asks me.

My 93 year old mother got to the point in her life where she needed a long-term care facility due to physical limitations. Since her cognition is still great we chose Good Samaritan Village in Prescott. She is grateful for the activities, the exercise class, the physical therapy available. The staff is loving and competent.
At this point our only frustration is in late October 2023 the residents still can only go out for medical appointments.. They can go out to socialize but if they do they have to do five days of quarantine to get back in to their activities.
It would improve the quality of her life greatly if she could socialize with her friends in the community where she has lived for the last 30 years.

I understand the need to keep the residence safe but with everybody that wants to be vaccinated and boosted, it’s time to let them get on with their lives.

Again, other than that, we have been thrilled with the facility and the staff.

My husband was in rehab at Good Samaritan for 3 weeks and I cannot say enough great things about his care. The entire staff was caring and professional. A huge shout out to Lizzette, Tom, Becky, Nick, Ernie, Sarah...and of course Dawn. I know I missed some names, but everyone there loves their job and does it well! Thank you!!

My 94 year old father has been in long term care for almost two years, and loves the food, his room and the staff. He is busy all day long with activities that he enjoys, and has his needs met by efficient but caring nursing, therapy, activities, and administrative personnel. Many of the staff have been there the full two years, COVID and all. I am welcome to spend the day with dad whenever I can come up from Phoenix, and can't imagine a more appropriate place for him to be residing in his beloved Prescott.

I entered Good Samaritan following hip replacement at YRMC. Fortunately I made the right decision, the staff is extremely efficient and caring.

I found those working there to be people I appreciate and respect because they care deeply about the patients.

Unfortunately, I can’t list the names of those that cared for me but I will advise management.

Only giving one star because no stars was not an option. If you or your loved one wants to die, by all means this is the place for you. Don’t ever try to call a patient because no one ever answers the phone. The revolving door of employees contributes to the unorganized culture of no one knows anything about anything. Want a consult from the doctor? Don’t hold your breath. Want COVID, this is the place for you. It spreads like wildfire. Nurses ignore critical vital signs.
This is a death rehab hospital. If you hate yourself or your family member this is for sure the place for you.

Sometimes short staffed, however still attentive and smiling people in the long term care area. Always willing to answer questions and be helpful. Older facility but clean and well maintained.
