Dr Sharkey is so amazing. His work with surgery is impeccable as I had bilateral knee surgery and also both hips done. I cant say enough good things about this Dr. He has a wonderful bedside manner as he makes u feel very comfortable and in good hands. Don't hesitate in going to him. Dr Sharkey has always been my preferred hip surgeon since 1996 and again 2008. He is the best in his field and I would not go to any other Doctor for this specialty!
Now for Rothman in those years I have seen good progress and poor operations with some rude personal.

There has been poor communication. I can’t say it any better than that. So many times I have tried to get messages to many of my doctors only to have a very delayed message or not the right response.
I love my doctors. Dr. Vaccaro, Dr Hsu and Dr Sharkey of course! Please keep the quality that Dr Rothman started with. I have recommended many people to Rothman.

I would like to add a huge thanks to all the Physicians Assistants that have helped along the way over the years associated with these doctors.

Great technical skill with superior bedside manner

Dr Sharkey continues to help me resolve my pain issues with both my knees. He treats you and answers your questions with down to earth answers. Only problem is Rothman Institute scheduling not allowing sufficient amount of time.
