The PA Daniel was very rude to me as I was asking questions and situation outside the door while I was talking to the nurse came back into the room and was arguing about the question I asked her. I will not come back here. As a mother to a daughter who has ASD I am with her for her appointments and have to give info and ask questions and they act like I don’t know anything. You have to be your own advocate these days and so I try to get the best care for my child and well with him it’s a no for me. Let’s hope he gave the proper care today for her.

When I needed to have my leg checked out for an infection first thing in a Sunday morning, I was prepared to spend several hours there. On arrival, there were only two patients ahead of me. The receptionist was very pleasant while checking me in. It wasn’t more than 5 minutes when Telma called my name and took me to an exam room. She was very professional, friendly and efficient. Josh, the PA, came in promptly and was very caring in diagnosing the condition, and was thorough in providing info on the medication he was prescribing and follow up care if needed. Except for my leg problem, it was a pleasant experience and I left in about an hour after I was checked in. Thank you for being there!

Almost a 2 hour wait for the provider and nurse to be rude. They both gave me the impression that I brought my 5 year old in for a stupid reason. The provider came in and didn't even introduce herself and barely spoke to my son. Just immediately asked if I wanted Zofran prescribed. I will definitely not be back. Very unprofessional. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will stick with patient first. Never had a issue like this there.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The person at your ‘front desk’ yesterday around 5pm at your Carlisle location was incredibly rude. You can turn patients away because you are at capacity as I watched the rude person do however, you can be kind and actually greet people. It’s quite clear you don’t enjoy your job. And Penn State Health needs to invest in proper training.

We didn't even get to come to this facility because we had such a bad experience over the phone. My husband called in to ask a few questions about bringing in my in laws to get checked out. Both have been extremely sick the last week. They are both elderly and have health issues. When we told the nurse they may have the flu she proceeded to tell us if it's viral they won't give any meds. Which we do understand to a certain extent however we didn't want to just bring them out of the house for no reason if they weren't going to give us a solution. My husband was very calm and asked more questions and said he was concerned because they are older and can't fight this off. She told him and I quote "well they aren't ancient. My parents are older than that." That set me off to the point I almost grabbed the phone from my husband. I don't think she wanted us to come in and honestly she shouldn't be in this job with that type of attitude. Have some freaking empathy or get out of the medical field! Needless to say, we called the Camp Hill one and Leslie was sweet and caring and encouraged us to come in, and that they would do whatever they could to help my in laws. That's how it should be!

Very rarely have I ever had to wait for scheduled appts. Dr. Meyer is an excellent Internist and has helped to really improve my quality of life.

Carlisle’s Penn State Urgent Care is by far the worst for wait time in the area. Over the last year every time I have tried to go there the wait is over 2 hours and most times they just turn me away because they are closing in 2 hours and have cut off taking on patients. I tried going on a Monday mid morning thinking it was an off time and it was a 2.5 hour wait. Don’t even bother trying to go unless you have all day to sit.

I went with my husband to urgent care today morning around 8 am since he had a pain in his right feet . we had a pretty bad experience with receptionist. I jest want let that lady know specially when you are working at the doctors office please be nice and kind to your patient because you never know what they going thorough.
My husband told me doctor and nurse was great and they did take care of him well. we appreciate for that.
