Wish I could give zero stars. We were standing in front of the receptionists as new patients and told we had to call to make an appointment. We have tried multiple times to call to make that appointment and been on hold each time over 40 minutes with no answer. How can we make an initial appointment if we can’t even get through? Receptionists are not friendly or patient at all. If you need a doctor, don’t bother here as you’ll never get through to speak to anyone and when you do, they’ll tell you they are at least 5 months out in making appointments.

In essence, please don't try and book with this office. I called in August, was told I had to wait until Oct to have an appt with a new doctor because existing doctors were booked until 2025. I waited until my appt a month and a half later, I showed up, they informed me they called me TWENTY minutes earlier to cancel me and rescheduled me without asking if I was available. The next day they cancelled that new appt via voicemail and rescheduled me for a day I am not in the state. I tried calling back ALL MORNING to speak to a manager to reschedule and it was a nightmare. I received a voicemail saying they rescheduled me for December, again, without asking. This was one of the worse healthcare experiences and made me feel like less than a person.

I also wish I could give 0 stars. I am a past patient. I moved back to the area and needed a “new patient” appt and the wait is ridiculous AND the customer service was terrible. They never called me back AND then told me that it would be an additional 2 months from the original date they gave me. I remember that I liked Dr. Gaskill, but who can wait that long to see their primary doctor.

I have been a patient of Mark Barimani for several years now. Very happy with him and the care he gives.

So why two stars? Like so many others, I've found it very difficult to get through to make an appointment. If you do manage to get a hold of someone, you almost certainly won't get an appointment any time soon.

Last week I called for two days in a row to try and see someone about a back injury. No appointments; was told I could go to urgent care. (Thanks, but I don't need your permission.)

Edit (1/13/2024): Just tried to make an appointment for a physical. The earliest available is mid-October - 9 months from now. Unreal.

I came in for an appointment in the radiology department today. It was super easy to make an appointment with them when I called last week. The front desk staff was very kind! The provider that handled my imaging was also very sweet. I’m happy that I was able to get an appointment with them and had a great experience!

So upset! I LOVE Mark Barimani and Dr. Ginsburg but....... You literally cannot make an appointment as they NEVER pick-up the phone anymore. I actually was very sick with Covid like 3 weeks ago. They took the phone off the hook and all you got was a busy signal until 930am. Then, I waited in queue 54 minutes untill fell asleep. When I woke up, I called back at 1:30 and waited 37 minutes for someone to answer. When the receptionist finally answered they had no appointments by then and she refused to open up the sick appointments for the next day even though I gave her all the details of my situation. I was like 9 weeks postpartum with a newborn. I really needed them and they weren't there for me. She told me to go to urgent care. What a mess. When I told her I was going to have to switch my family to a new practice if they dont have availability to work with us after our MANY years with them, she said, *OK.*

Finally made it to my physical appointment at 8am on 9/02/20 only to be told the appointment was canceled the night before. I had no record of the call. The office lady didn't apologize. I heard her coworker make an appointment today for my doctor. But they couldn't schedule me for Dr Megan Gaskill until the end of October.
That physicals have a delay. Hope nothing is wrong with me as I made this appointment months ago. I can lawyer up.

I have gone to this office for years, and I recommended them to my sister recently, sadly, at this point. I’m not sure what happened over the course of COVID-19, and I understand they are likely extremely busy, however; it’s no excuse for incompetent and extremely RUDE front desk assistants or office managers. I have been taking her to appointments because for medical reasons (that we’re trying to figure out), she can’t drive. Every single appointment, we’ve been given inaccurate information, sent to the wrong places/addresses, papers that clearly have printed on them “this is not a referral,” and they insist it is, only causing more calls/hassle/confusion, (even from other doctor offices, telling them they need to send an electronic referral), only then, do they provide one, and overall rudeness, and being hung up on or dismissed, before we can ask all questions. I’m sorry, but people coming to the doctor are already stressed out enough about what’s wrong with them, they don’t need people who don’t want to do their jobs or have some compassion sitting at those desks. Do better please. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because Dr. Brinsfield is wonderful, otherwise, I’d give none at this point.
