Pelican Ridge Acute Rehab.
Of all the Rehab facilities our family visited (4 in total) Pelican Ridge Acute Rehab in Newport Beach had the most comprehensive physical/occupational therapy set ups. We found their staff knowlegible, competent, friendly & caring. Our family member showed GREAT strides in improvement under their care.

At Pelican Ridge, this is one of the facilities that has the most outstanding staff. The nurses does phenomenal job, they go the extra step to satisfy their residents. They are very loving, compassionate and hard-working. This is a facility that anyone will like to love one to reside for therapy or skill nursing care, I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs LTC. The nurses at PELICAN RIDGE ARE THE BEST!!!

This is the worst place. My father is a patient there and they don’t change his diaper all day. It’ll go 4 to 6 hours. I have to show up and physically talk to them to do something about it. He also had a huge knot on his head randomly they lied about the whole situation. We have proof and evidence of everything super shady people. They didn’t bring my father dinner one night I showed up the next morning brought him breakfast. He scarfed it down so quick, and when I questioned them about it, they called the cops to escort me off the premise Because I was recording all the negligence taking notes & questioning them . They are of no help . The healthcare system truly sucks and I will fight every tooth & nail for justice for him

It doesn't seem like they're doing much physical therapy on my aunt. While I was there visiting, a patient was calling for a nurse for about 15 minutes before somebody showed up. The food doesn't seem to be very good. Many times I've called no one answers the phone. The people are nice, but I'm not too impressed.

From the nurses to the caregivers to the therapists, everyone demonstrates a genuine commitment to providing personalized care with dignity and respect. I have been a part of the therapy team here for almost 2 years now and would whole-heartedly recommend this facility to anyone in need of short-term rehabilitation.

My sister is under the care of this facility. She said during the day the nurses are good however the night time shift does not even bother to check on them once. My sister is unable to walk and needs her diaper changed she laid in the bed soaking wet her bed was soaking wet she was pressing the call button nobody even bothered to check on her. She had to wait for the daytime shift to have her diaper and bed changed. This is completely and totally UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

My grandma recovered here for a few weeks and I was skeptical at first, but right away my family and I were reassured that she’d be taken well care of! Everyone was so kind to my grandma and genuine! Thank you to all the staff for caring for our beloved matriarch Juanita Becerra ❤️

This place is horrible!!! I’ve left so many messages, so many calls for someone to call me back about my dad - from the nurses to the doctor and even the social workers, no one cares to call back, let alone care about the patients.
