My provider, Kim, was excellent. She was prepared when I arrived with everything I needed to know for my travel destination - all printed out. She reviewed the vaccines I needed as well as precautions for the country I was traveling to per current CDC guidelines. She was gentle with the injections, 4 shots and I was finished within the hour. Exceptional….

So many things wrong with this place, many of which has already been highlighted by other reviewers, and it doesn't look like they've changed in the last 5 years:
- Weird vaccination storage practices. During my visit, there was discourse with a UPS delivery driver over vaccinations that had potentially been stored in the heat, which is extremely unsafe. Made me uneasy about the safety of the shots I was getting.
- Horrendous overcharging for services
- They will *lie* to you and say that the exorbitant costs can be reimbursed by insurance. I am contacting corporate for this considering that if you know you are not in-network for insurance, you should not be claiming that it's possible!
- They try to take advantage of people's fears when traveling overseas to upsell medications that either 1) you don't need or 2) can purchase from a grocery store for a fraction of the cost. Things like probiotics and generic Pepto-Bismol that they give fancy names and descriptions to make you think you're getting something worth the money.

The vaccinations I received for my trip including the "consultation fee" totaled about $1000. If I had gone to the Allegheny County vaccine clinic (which I found out about afterwards, mistake on my part), I would have paid about $300, and the quality of care that you get isn't even worth the $700 discrepancy. Awful business practices! I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Karen, the nurse, was extremely informative and helpful about advising me on which vaccines I needed before my upcoming trip to Africa. I give her five stars. However, I cannot give Passport Health five stars because I had no idea before my appointment that the cost of their services would be extremely expensive. Passport doesn’t accept any insurance and it doesn’t receive grant money, therefore if you need vaccinations you have to pay out of pocket for them. I should have been told this before my appointment because for seven vaccines they wanted me to pay over $3,100! I left my appointment and called my insurance company and found out that all seven vaccines are covered under my plan. The experience was disappointing and it cost me $99 to visit Passport, which I was fine paying because the nurse was very helpful. Just be wary that you may incur significant costs.

Very thorough and knowledgeable. They will give you all of the information that you need to make informed decisions about your travel health. I especially liked how they take care of everything right on the spot and I didn’t have to go from place to place to get shots, pills and what not.

Very much appreciate having a travel resource like Passport Health nearby. When I made the appointment I indicated where I was traveling to and a full list of vaccination requirements and suggestions were waiting for me at check-in. The appointment was quick and pleasant. 5 stars, way better than going to the pharmacy for travel health needs. Would recommend for sure!

Great experience. Jamie was very informative and respectful of what vaccinations we did and did not want to purchase. Office visit is a little pricy but she spend almost 2.5 hours with us! A booklet was printed out and personalized to our trip itinerary which I thought was a huge plus. I don’t travel out of the country much and appreciated the time she took and the detail she provided us with. Would recommend to anyone.

Jaime is amazing! She gave me a ton of information, including an entire booklet specifically for where I was traveling, answered all my questions, but was fast and efficient. I forgot to get my vaccines until the week before my trip, and Jaime helped me understand all the preventative measures I could take in addition to the last minute vaccines. And, my vaccines were almost painless!! Great resource for international travelers.

I had to get vaccinations for a trip to China I will be going on soon. The RN that helped me was so kind and made me feel so comfortable. She was fantastic! She was also very informative about traveling in general. I just expected to go in and get my shots and then leave, but she provided me with a lot of beneficial information. I also loved how they had an entire booklet ready for me all about traveling to China! I will certainly go back if I ever need travel vaccines in the future!
