I've been getting spray tans for years, and I decided I wanted to sign up for the spray tan membership. My mistake was I signed up for the membership before seeing the room/machine. The machine was outdated and not in great shape. I haven't been in a spray booth that only does the up/down on the front/back in years! I've gotten used to newer machines that have you turn to spray you from all angles and does a great job with coverage. I cancelled my membership on the way out. The employee was understanding and friendly. Hopefully they makes some updates, because it is a convenient location.

Such a weird location. This has been the 3rd or 4th time this location hasn't been open on popular days and times of tanning when they say they are. Very frustrating when you pay 80 dollars a month and go when they say they are open but get there and it's closed. Just seems like this one is the most poorly run location. Very disappointed recently. If you are a professional place of business you need to adjust your hours and stick to them.

I would not recommend this company or location to ANYONE! I went in the day before Valentine’s Day to get a spray tan .. the next day I was not tan at all so when I called up there they told me that they had been receiving the same complaints and would call about it. I simply asked to cancel my membership when I should of asked for my money back and they said I had to come up there in person to cancel. When I went up there they were closed and that was the only time I had to do it. I called the following day to find out that I could cancel over the phone but I would still be charged for the following month Finally after speaking to the manager (who didn’t even apologize for my experience) she proceeded to tell me she was writing up her employee for telling me I could cancel on the phone and that everything was out of their control. So first of all very very very poor costumer service , unorganized, rude and unprofessional. Now i will be paying $70 for a spray tan that didn’t even work. They are quick to get you signed up and take all your billing information but yet there is nothing they can do when you want to cancel or they screw up. Horrible experience

I have been tanning here for over a year, they are pricey but did like the beds. Went to tan today and she tells me I can no longer tan there unless I buy lotion from them. What is that? After a year of tanning with this company. I use the same expensive lotions they sell but I didn't and wouldn't pay the ridiculous, high prices for their lotions. I have never seen a salon that forces people to use their lotions. That is ridiculous, especially after I've been going there for a year and always used my lotion. I canceled immediately, I can tan many other places and can use what I want. I use expensive lotion but don't pay those prices. You lost a great customer today that paid for the most expensive package you offer. I'm sure you'll lose many more too if you keep this supposed new policy.

I chose Palm Beach due to the location. I have had nothing but problems since coming here. For starters, it is extremely over priced compared to other salons I have been to. Secondly, they messed up my account and it took a week for the manager to contact me. She offered no apology nor did she ask how she could make things right... Third, they will not let you tan unless it is well over 24 hrs later. I have never had this issue before. I understand not tanning more than once a day. However, if I come at 5pm the day before and I can't tan at 4:30pm the following day that is ridiculous. I paid for a month of tanning and you are telling me I'm not allowed to tan once a day when it is convenient for me. I work full time and go to school full time. I'm not able to come whenever they say I'm allowed...

The staff is always nice and very helpful! The beds are nice upgraded beds and always clean and in working order and the location itself is always clean and has great hours that always fit my schedule no matter what my day entails! Their membership rewards program is also very good! I very much enjoy tanning here!

Where do I begin....
I came to PBT because it was so convienent to the location of my apartment. I have been diagnosed with precancerous cells so I don’t bed tan, just Sunless. I asked about the memberships, and the woman who helped me was the manager. She wasn’t very helpful at all. I asked about the PBT One which is advertised as $14.95/month for spray tans. She told me that I would be paying the $14.95 but I would still need to pay out of pocket and that it wasn’t a membership, it was more “like a $5 discount”.
So then we talked about the gold membership for Sunless. It was $39.95. I felt comfortable with this price and agreed to set up a membership. After the fact, she told me to expect to pay between $11-15 each session if I “wanted any color at all”. So this, I was NOT okay with. But, I was going to give it a try because I already paid for the month. I used the Mystic booth because I was told it was the only one they could guarantee that I wouldn’t turn orange in. I can’t lie, the color was FLAWLESS! I was hooked. But you can’t hear the voice inside the booth, so you can’t tell where you are supposed to put your feet. I just did a full circle and hoped for the best. The manger seemed really pushy and rude. I didn’t get a helpful or friendly vibe from her at all. I was just praying it would be one of the high school girls or Jaron at the counter when I walked in.
Second, I was told I could change my membership at any time. Or cancel it at any time. This was awesome to me because I knew I was taking a cruise in May and wanted to get a little exposure before frying in the sun on the boat. When I approached the manager about changing my membership, she told me that I absolutely could. I would need to upgrade to the platinum membership (I think that was the name). It was close to $100/month and then I would just need to pay a service fee of $20. So... I have to pay you money to in return, PAY YOU MORE MONEY? I left that day knowing I would never go back. I canceled my membership immediately. I felt taken advantage of and I felt like she only ever cared about her sales. Which I understand. This is a business. But wouldn’t longevity of a satisfied customer be more valuable than a few upsells? I guess not. It was a terrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend them. I am actually driving 15 minutes out of my way to tan somewhere else.
