The kinship staff I have dealt with have become a part of my extended family. Our grandmother's support group meet often to share our experiences as we all are in the same journey raising our grandkids during these troubled times. This journey gets pretty rough & at times we are all in struggle mode. It really helps us all to deal with the emotional landscape . We help each other to not feel as if we are alone on this journey. Kinship does alot to reach out to us all and that helps.👍🧓
