I just got checked in for a two-week weekly appointment this morning with the Orthopedic. The nurse who brought me to the patient's room was condescending and rude. She never smiled nor showed enthusiasm. When she was going through asking questions, I asked her why I had to do the x-rays again on my wrist; she stated in a rude tone that because I have a fracture and it’s mandatory to do the x-rays every time I come to my orthopedic appointment. I can understand that giving information is essential to a patient. But do it in a pleasant and friendly tone. I expect her to improve her customer service skills because she was rude the entire time. But the other nurse who did my x-ray and the doctor are both very nice. It’s just that one nurse in the beginning that has an attitude problem.

I was very impressed at how efficient the process went. Went there with no appointment. The office was fairly busy but I was called within 5 minutes of checking in. Was getting X-rays maybe 10 minutes later. Saw the doctor(PA) about 5 minutes after X-ray. She and the rest of the staff were very attentive and friendly. Had my consult and appointments set and I was out the door in well under an hour. So much better than regular urgent care.

Everyone that worked here was extremely friendly and helpful. I had a broken patella and it was a slow recovery. Thanks to Dr O’Neill and everyone else, my knee is completely back to normal. I cannot say enough good words about how my experience here was. I’m endlessly thankful for the care they provided.

Their Orthopedic Urgent Care is amazing!! I've had two separate experiences taking two of my boys. Both times, they took them back to the exam rooms within 5 minutes. No appointment either time, and we were in and out within 40 minutes. Great experience!!

I was only here once, but my experience was nothing less than exceptional. The people that I had dealt with were very kind and seemed like "real" people. They were very understanding and not pushy at all. I have not been to a doctor's facility in a long time, where I felt that they truly had my best interest at heart.

Came here as my PCP referred me due to an xray showing a fracture. When I arrived and saw the provider, she told me it was tendonitis (same diagnosis given 2 weeks before at a TH urgent care). I asked her if she looked at my X-rays and she said “it looks to be like an old fracture”. I pushed and told her that my pcp was concerned (as no xrays were taken at the TH Urgent Care so she ordered one for me) and my pain was not resolving after 2 weeks, the ortho provider said “I look at these X-rays all day long” and that she did not have the same concerns. She continued to say it could have been a fracture from years ago. I left. At the time, I knew the Department Chair of Radiology at Reading Hospital and asked him to take a look at my X-rays. He confirmed that it in fact was a new fracture and states he believed my pain was not due to tendonitis. I decided to see a provider at Orthopaedic Associates of Lancaster and he confirmed that it was a new fracture, however, too many weeks have passed and he states it wouldn’t be wise to splint it due to mobility concerns. He informed me that it should have been splinted within the first 4 weeks. So I was in pain for weeks and basically told “it is what it is” when I let them know my pain was not getting better. Ridiculous and a waste of time. Next time, listen to the patient and don’t dismiss them, especially when there are multiple visits for the same primary complaint.

You get treated like a number in many places BUT here I felt like they wanted to help. My doctor was very concerned about ME. Mind you it was my first visit with her. I feel terrible that I don’t remember her name. Im even feeling better. Thank you.

I don’t take the time to review anything. This place is extremely disappointing. They brush you off, treat you like another number and are essentially just “trying to get through” the day. They looked at my injured area literally 30 seconds and didn’t try to diagnose the issue. I went here for a second opinion already having a general idea of the issue so I know how others handle this same case. If you are looking for quick care this might be a good location however if you’re looking for thorough, detail oriented, patient first care this is definitely not the place for you.
