After being with OBHN for years, I can confidently say they are becoming more unprofessional as time goes on. I would not recommend.

We are so grateful for Orion! They have helped our daughter with her medications, so she is so much happier. The providers work together to come up with solutions. We have online meetings with them, but they are friendly, caring, and very understanding of our situation .I would highly recommend Orion.

Do not waste your time. Getting psychology help is too important to waste time with a business that has poor management, miss communication, conflicting communication, a front desk/admin that is clueless and can't answer any questions, etc. We went to Orion to simply get my son's medication refilled since he's current provider retired. It was the hardest thing for them to comprehend. First they couldn't get my insurance confirmed. Which didnt make sense as they had all the info it's Premera Blue Cross - a well established insurance provider. Once they figure that out we finally got an appointment. Then me, the father and teacher all had to fill out forms for Orion to review in order to approve the medication refill. Once we had our appointment in-person, the man we saw at Orion it turned out he NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT the forms. Even after i pointed it out that it was emailed to him and he finally saw he had them he DIDN"T EVEN BOTHER TO LOOK THEM. So, what's the point of us filling the forms if he doesn't even care Don't waste our time, don't waste teachers time. As we continued with our meeting it became blatantly clear he actually had no idea why we were even there. We had to explain all over again - to the 4th person at this point - why we were there and just needed a refill. Once we were finally all settled we discussed with him getting my other son in for a neurological assessment. We already had a referral from another provider. He said it would be fine then to just go ahead and do the assessment. Since then it's been the most difficult thing to get him scheduled for the assessment and NOW they're telling me they can't do it till we have another initial consultation to get the assessment. I am so tired of being jerked around by these people and having to deal with young girls that are clearly not capable of handling their positions to help or answer any questions. What a disaster this business is. It blows my mind there's any positive reviews for this places.

We spent over a year and thousands of dollars at Orion, working with Dr. Evans and Dr. Forsyth to try and help my son. It was incredibly frustrating and I never felt like we were on the same team. There was no investment on their part in his progress, they treated him like a commodity.

Dr. Forsyth never missed an opportunity to talk about herself and her qualifications. She literally talked 80% of the time. She would ask my son a question and then answer it herself almost immediately. A few months in I asked about a treatment plan (which we still did not have) and was repeatedly shut down. She said we were "welcome to see other therapists" if we didn't like the way she did things.

Dr. Evans never seemed to remember my son and we would spend the first 10-15 minutes of every session watching him read from his notes. He works remotely for half the year and thinks that using Skype to video chat with his patients is just as effective. It is definitely not! There was always a delay and you can't get any kind of conversation going like that, especially when the doctor doesn't seem to be invested.

There are very few options for pediatric therapy in Alaska, but in my opinion, Orion is one of the worst. You can do better.

Do Not Go Here. I had been going here for three years, was misdiagnosed for a year, and had a therapist who broke confidentiality and told my mother everything I ever told her in confidence. I’ve had four therapists in the three years, including the year with no therapy due to COVID, because they would keep quitting. Once I “graduated” therapy, I was only going here for meds, but even before that it felt like every refill appointment I went to, they were just pushing new pills on me and telling me about prescriptions that were entirely irrelevant. Don’t waste your time. The amount of time I’ve spent arguing with desk staff here could have gotten me whole other appointments somewhere else

This is a great place. My daughter has been going here for clp years now. Her therapist is amazing he never try’s to push medications to fix the problem he listens to my daughter and helps her understand the things she is going through and shows her ways to cope in a healthy way.

I would suggest you look elsewhere. We stuck w/ OBHN for nearly two years but weren't getting the results we were hoping for. Soon after going elsewhere we experienced better results, and for lower cost.

When trying to get records I was informed they would only provide the first 10 pages of records for free -- after that they charge $0.50 per PAGE.

In my opinion this place is more focused on money in over client outcomes.
