I strongly advise against choosing Dr. Go as your dentist. When I moved to Campbell in 2021, I started visiting Dr. Go, initially finding our interactions to be pleasant. However, over time, I became deeply concerned about the quality and ethics of her practice.

Before seeing Dr. Go, I had been cavity-free for over 15 years, thanks to regular dental care. My previous dentist had cautioned me that some practitioners might overdiagnose early-stage cavities, especially those that aren't yet "sticky" when probed. Unfortunately, this warning proved accurate. It seemed that almost every other visit, I was told I had a new cavity. I began to question whether these diagnoses were driven by necessity or by a desire to perform unnecessary procedures.

Another troubling aspect was the extensive X-rays taken during my first visit. I was later billed separately for these "premium" X-rays, which were not covered by insurance. The process was time-consuming, and I felt it was both excessive and unnecessary.

The final straw came when Dr. Go decided to stop accepting insurance altogether. If I’m paying for dental insurance, I expect it to be honored by my dentist. Paying out-of-pocket for routine care that should be covered simply doesn't make sense.

I have since switched to a different dentist and have been with them for over a year now. The most telling part? Not a single new cavity has been found. It's clear to me now that Dr. Go’s approach was unnecessarily aggressive, and I’m relieved to have found a more ethical and conservative dentist. I would not recommend Dr. Go to anyone seeking honest and patient-focused care.

We have been with Dr. Go for about 6 years. She and her staff have been great. They even navigated the difficulties of COVID quite smoothly from the patient’s perspective. My family has had everything from cleanings to fillings and crowns done. All were done well with no problems.

The whole team at OCDC is so kind and attentive. They immediately put me at ease about any work I’m having done. They walk me through the whole process, explaining what they are doing and checking that I still feel as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend Dr. Go.

Edit: Dropping to 4 stars. I still love this office, but I would like to see more transparency with costs. My insurance only reimburses me for cleanings, and I scheduled a cleaning here. However I still paid over $100 out of pocket due to the exam and fluoride rinse, which I didn’t realize was extra. I think this should be laid out to patients before the work starts, so it’s not a surprise later. Thanks.

Dr Go and Dr Killough are talented and detail-oriented dentists. They take pride in what they do and show a genuine interest in your well-being.
The hygienist is efficient and provided me with helpful feedback after my cleaning.
All staff here have been amazing and very competent. Even though appointments can be far out, they have been really good about calling me to book me in sooner when someone else cancels.
I’ve yet to find a place that is as Covid-serious. I really respect that.
