Ocean Hills Recovery and Kyle Coons completely changed my life. As a college student, I thought I could handle everything on my own—stress, bad habits, and all the weight that comes with trying to juggle it all. But when things spiraled out of control, I finally admitted I needed help, and Ocean Hills Recovery was there for me in ways I didn’t even know I needed.

The clinical staff are absolute rock stars. They’re knowledgeable, supportive, and straight-up amazing at what they do. They don’t just hand you a plan and send you on your way—they really work with you to figure out what’s best for your situation. And the support staff? They’re like the backbone of the whole experience, always there to help with the little things that make a huge difference.

The setting at Ocean Hills is incredible—it’s peaceful and welcoming, which made it so much easier to focus on my recovery. And then there’s Kyle Coons. I don’t know how to put it into words, but he has this way of making you feel like you matter. He’s so invested in what he does, and you can tell he genuinely cares about every single person who walks through those doors.

Ocean Hills Recovery didn’t just help me get through a tough time; they gave me the tools to rebuild my life. I’ll always be grateful to Kyle and the entire team for believing in me and showing me that it’s okay to ask for help. They’re the reason I’m back in school and on the path to a better future.

Ocean Hills provided me with a solid foundation to build upon when I transitioned into a 3 month IOP program immediately following. As with any program, you get out of it what you put into it. I was at a point where I desperately needed change, and the staff did a great job providing me with the tools in order to be successful.

My experience at ocean hills was nothing short of terrible. I was completely shocked when they withheld any and every medication I had been prescribed, something I've absolutely never had an issue with at previous rehab programs. Additionally, I was told the facility was women-only, but I found myself feeling incredibly uncomfortable as that wasn't true and the lack of clarity around this. trying to advocate for myself about the situation was completely ignored with obvious disregard to any unsafe feelings i had. i was repeatedly threatened if i said anything on the phone negatively about the program (even just about me being extremely confused how i got duped into a co ed) I would have my phone calls fully taken away, so i was stuck completely helpless without a voice and unable to transfer anywhere else that would actually help me. This is not only unprofessional, but also illegal. The staff was so lazy and uninterested in providing proper care, just all around not knowing what they're doing in the slightest. I do not recommend this place to anyone seeking proper care and support. This place is unprofessional, lacks proper care, and disregards basic safety and legal rights. I wouldn't recommend this facility to even an enemy of mine.

If you’ve found your self here, make the call, get your life back on track. The OHR staff truly cares and they are there to make sure you succeed. Lifelong issues with mental and addiction. They helped rebalance my medications, got me properly diagnosed, and created an environment in which you can truly reset your mind, body, and soul. Let go of the doubt and trust the process. Very grateful I got myself in.

Ocean Hills Recovery is a Great and caring Organization. DJ has been with me every step of the way helping me and DJ never failed to answer his phone even after hours with any questions l had, also Mike is amazing helping getting a person to the facility. If you have a family member like me that needs help l would highly recommend Ocean Hills these people are caring and are capable of helping through a difficult time

The team members at Ocean Hills were awesome! They were so helpful and easily accessible when going through the process of getting my husband into treatment, and then throughout his stay. They gave me the feeling that their facility could help my husband find the recovery he desperately needed, but more importantly they gave him that same sense of assurance. Throughout his stay the care was exceptional, the individuals working with my husband were caring, compassionate and their focus was on his wellbeing! Highly recommend!
