Checking in is so easy, especially on return visits. Everything looks clean and smells good. The staff is friendly, especially Megan, the receptionist who went out of her way to accommodate our needs. The kitchen staff also were so gracious when I went to them with a special request. Our friend is being well taken care of. He said that he is enjoying his meals. We recommend Newport Nursing and Rehab.

Everyone was so attentive and they did their best to take care of me when I was a patient there. I have to mention Tracy who went above an beyond what was expected from her when Everyone else was sticking to do their job

There is a reason this facility has received five stars. Before sending my mom here we visited numerous facilities and immediately knew this was the one. It can be pretty depressing to come to a nursing facility. I feel like the vibe is really important and the vibe is definitely more uplifting than most. Now, a year later, we admitted my dad post surgery

Newport Nursing and Rehab has some incredible administrators, nursing staff and assistants. Even the people that clean the rooms were very nice. My mother spent 2 weeks in this facility and the communication with them was amazing. Every little request, medication, or concern was addressed promptly within 15 minutes. They also called to update me on my mom with any changes that occurred. The physician overseeing her care was also well informed and diligent in his orders. I appreciate everything and everyone.

Our dad is a return patient here and we are very happy with his care and support. The staff and facility is excellent. The admin staff are on top of the paperwork and the nursing staff are so compassionate and professional. RN Lei is amazing and her leadership is important for her staff through mentorship and ongoing education as each patient bring their own special requests and medical needs. We appreciate everyone from the moment they greet us in the front and in the hallways, the space is always clean and staff are friendly and genuinely seem happy to work there. This speaks volumes for a rehab facility. If you know you know.

I am a caregiver who assisted my client from Hoag Hospital to Newport Nursing on her first day… I was told her room would be 28 initially, but when I arrived, they told me she was in room 18. There seemed to be a mixup, but it worked to our benefit. When I went to room 28 there was a sweet, quiet roommate there… But when I was directed to room 18, my client was in a bed next to the door and her roommate was chatting too much with her. Knowing my client and after she had been through a lot, I knew that she would want a calmer atmosphere. I shared the room mixup with her nurse, who then went to get the director. The director immediately realize she should have been in room 28 and said she would correct the issue immediately, Which I would’ve been happy with. But, Since my client had to be moved, I asked if she could have a bed in a room next to a window instead of the door. That is exactly what the director found her, and there was no roommate at the time! My client had a big sense of relief and was quite happy about the whole situation. Thank you so much for accommodating the needs of my client.!!!

I visited a friend at Newport Nursing and Rehab today and it was the most pleasant and impressive facility I have been in. The staff was extremely helpful and kind and my friend loves it there. I hope if I am ever in need of rehab that I am able to stay with you. A++++

Newport nursing and rehabilitation center was so wonderful today. My mother just got transferred from Hoag hospital after 12 days she missed her family and our dog. They allow pets and I forwarded my vaccinations by email and we were able to go right in and visit my mom and lift her spirits with our family pet. It’s very clean in there in the room had a door to the garden so air was flowing and her roommate was very nice as well Can’t say enough about this place thank you Newport nursing
