Five stars for this nursing facility! The staff is incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and caring environment. Great experience here very professional understanding my circumstances with my loved one compared to other experiences I had. Wish all nursing homes cared this much to how the way I was treated here. Very caring.

I was a patient there from June through October 2024. Was able to observe the facility and staff extensively. Here are my honest impressions:

PROS:
---The food is generally tasty, sufficient and
healthy.
--- The physical therapy section is excellent with dedicated staff.
---Many of the CNAs are devoted to the patients and take their job seriously.
---The administrators are receptive to
suggestions and input.
---The facility is kept clean, for the most part.
---Good activities scheduled for residents.

CONS:
---Horrendous parking problem.
---Chronically understaffed. As a result, the patients are forced to wait a long time for a CNA to attend them.
--- Some of the CNAs are there just for a paycheck. I personally witnessed cases of patients being screamed at and being mistreated.
---In July I told the Administration that they needed to supervise the evening, and especially, the night shift CNAs. Some of these pick the night shift so they don't have to work hard. There is no supervision. They are supposed to get a 30 minute dinner, but a few of them spend an hour + in the break room. The people at the nurse's stations ignore this. Why? Because, in most cases, they are friends with the CNAs!
This situation has NOT been corrected!
---Some of the staff routinely use off-color and 4-letter words in front of patients and visitors...very unprofessional.

Facility is okay, parking is very difficult, staff are okay, just few instances that they accidentally giving wrong meds and wrong personal item, quite disorganized, staff are loud, specially during the night, call light are not being attended, on the other hand PT, OT team are good, overall! i would consider to check other facility. i know they’re some that are worst and good.

From the moment we began our search for a skilled nursing home for my great grandmother, we knew we wanted a place that was professional, but also with people who are compassionate and dedicated to the well-being of its residents.

This journey led us to New Orange Hills, and it has been nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to the wonderful recommendation and guidance from Mercy.

Mercy provided reassurance during a time filled with uncertainty and concern. Her genuine care and detailed explanations helped us feel confident in our decision for my great grandmother's care. We have been continuously impressed by the high level of care and how clean the facility is.

In my first-hand experience, the staff has gone above and beyond to ensure that my great grandmother feels comfortable, cared for, and valued. Their efforts have not only aided in her physical health but have also uplifted her spirits, making her days brighter and more enjoyable.

My family & I had a great experience at this nursing facility! The nursing team here has outstanding care, providing care around the clock 24/7. The CNAs are highly attentive, and the rehab team has been beyond amazing. They have been so patient with us and I’m so grateful for the dedicated and compassionate staff ensuring the well-being of all their residents.

They are awful!!! They allow their patients to sit in messy diapers for hours on end. Their CNS's tell the patients "I'll be right back and don't come back for hours.
One CNA actually cut my long hair off while I was in the shower. I was and I still am devastated!!!
If you truly care about your loved ones, don't take them here!!!!!👎👎👎
