Cannot recommend them highly enough. I have had Invisalign three times, With different providers. I was coming in to get braces for a few months so my teeth would stay still, and instead of charging me treatment, which would’ve been very easy, as I literally sign up for anything thats recommended, He told me that I don’t need to do that, I just need to order my retainers off my last Invisalign tray. Saved me thousands of dollars. He then removed my attachments for free, when he had zero obligation to do that, my last orthodontist that retired and disappeared left them on there. After seeing so many different providers in my life, and always feeling ripped off, it’s just such a difference to come across an orthodontist that puts my interest above their bottom line $$. HIGHLY Recommended. Honesty and integrity is everything.

Superior care and concern for my son’s teeth! 🦷 every visit we are treated like family, and Doc always talks TO my son about his teeth instead of talking ABOUT him to me. Really makes my son feel like he is responsible for his great orthodontic care and dental hygiene. Very nice office, clean, welcoming and great customer service. Easy to schedule appointments, great timely reminders, always answers the phone when I call.

Both of our kids have gotten braces from Dr. Joe at Mullins Orthodontics - we highly recommend this local Coronado business. Not only are their teeth straight, but they had an amazing experience from booking their own appointments, to getting adjustments to getting fitted for their retainers. The staff is friendly, positive and a joy to work with - absolutely 5 stars.

I can't believe I forgot to leave a review! I was a patient from Jan 2019 to Nov 2020 before I had to move mid-treatment.

Anyways - I was 21 years old with some messy teeth and Dr Mullins and his team did phenomenal work. I did not get to COMPLETE my braces journey with them, but I had nearly 2 years in their care and let me say - PHENOMENAL. They are so welcoming, and they quickly made me and my family FEEL like THEIR family! My toddler was always welcomed in the office and I never felt like a nuisance for BRINGING my kid.. which I know parents will get what I mean!
They were all so nice and caring, I never felt rushed, my questions always throughly answered, I just truly can't express enough how much I ABSOLUTELY recommend Dr Mullins and his team to take care of your orthodontic needs! I no longer live in California, but will always recommend him to fellow military families that get stationed there! If you're looking at reviews to decide where to go for care - it's here. Their prices are fair (I've been to SO many orthodontists in Cali and on the East Coast so trust me, they are very fair! 😅) and reasonable! Everyone who works there were all just absolutely fantastic to interact with. It's perfect, definitely go here! Recommend 5 outta 5! ! ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr. Joe Mullins is an extraordinary orthodontist. He is kind, caring and an expert in his field. His staff is warm and friendly and make it a joy to go back for visits. Okay we love to vacation to San Diego. This visit left us in urgent need of a pop in visit to an orthodontist. We happened to be on Coronado island and found Dr. Mullins on Google. The staff was so cordial and professional. They fit our 12 year old in immediately due to a wire from his braces cutting his cheek and leaving him in pain. They clipped the wire then Dr. Mullins spent time consulting with him to make sure everything looked good. There are still great people in the world and Dr. Mullins and his staff are wonderful. Thanks!
