This place was wonderful for me!!! I had been 6 moths of MA classes and my teacher worked hard with us; trying to teach us as much as we need. Staff and Administrative personal, are very helpful, also they have real interested to help you any time. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

This is the worst college in Watsonville! I was there a few years ago left and finished my MA course in San Jose because I wasn't learning anything in Monsbey. Definitely do not recommend this school there's a lot of more options of colleges if you're interested in the medical field. From what I have heard and seen everyone regrets going to Monsbey so don't go there!

I highly recommend, the teacher was amazing she made sure to go through the book with you and made sure explain the main points as well as told interesting personal stories from her own past experiences as a CNA in order to make sure we fully understand the content. The clinical location we went to and the training we received helped me to really build my confidence as a CNA.

I was a pharmacy tech student at Monsbey College nearly 10 years ago. During my time as a student, this business felt extremely unprofessional and unorganized. An example I have is how Moncy (the "president" of the school) communicates with students - he once mentioned the fact that I've gained weight (extremely rude). He didn't know this, but I was in my first trimester of pregnancy at the time. There were many other interactions with him that felt degrading and unnecessary. So many that I actually recorded some of the conversations with him to share with my husband. I did this because the condescending things Moncy would say to me were really hard to believe. But I got through the nonsense, and achieved my pharmacy tech license. This is why I decided to keep quiet about the unprofessional experience I had. Fast forward to today - I regretfully let my license expire during the Covid-19 pandemic. Now I'd like to reapply but I cannot do so without certain paperwork that the school should have in their system. This meant I had to interact with this school again. Moncy told me that I should have the papers in my own files and that it's my fault I don't have these certificates I need. This would be true, however I chose to not be a part of the awkward pharmacy tech "graduation ceremony", so I do not have the certificates in hand.

After nearly a year of respectfully yet persistently trying to find a solution with this school in locating my files, I am finally here to say that I am giving up.

There are many reasons why this business has terrible reviews - now you can add a lack of alumni support to the list. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone, there are several other local program options that weren't available 10 years ago. I'm surprised they've been in business for this long. Please go somewhere else.

*I do have to say that Binu is a great person, she is so kind and always made me feel respected and heard*

However, I don't think she realizes what a disaster her husband is at running this business. Honestly he is just flat out rude and unorganized.

I really hate to write a bad review, but know that these are my honest thoughts and it comes from an extreme feeling of disappointment in this business.

Also, Moncy - don’t comment here (like you did on another person’s review) telling me to talk to the school about this issue because you and I both know I already tried to.

I love Monsbey College, classes are interesting and people are wonderful. I have developed some great relationships with my teachers and they genuinely seem to care about my well being. I am getting an awesome education and have had numerous opportunities at Monsbey College. I have enjoyed being part of the CNA program. Monsbey College taught me a lot beyond what i would have learned in a classroom. For the most part are extremely knowledgeable and good experience.

Monsbey College is a great school, and friendly family environment.
I attended the CNA course and everything the Administrators and teachers do it was all in our best interest as students. The teachers, and owners are well educated, with many talents. I recommend this college for anyone looking for an affordable, fast track to a career in the field of your choice. They truly care about making a difference and helping this community.
