I recently had the misfortune of having to have a root canal performed as well as two crowns replaced. I wanted to get it all done at one time and get it over with.

I decided to get the work done here at Mission Viejo dental group and I would highly recommend you give them your consideration.

Dr. Davis did a fantastic job on my root canal and was at all times focused on minimizing the pain that I experienced and asked multiple times if I was OK. I had made it clear that minimizing. The pain was my highest priority and he kept that at the top of the list during the entire procedure. he finished in just 30 minutes and the day after I was paying free.

Dr Eileen A handled my dual crown replacement and also was at all times very pain aware. In fact, it could be said about everyone on staff at this facility because I experienced the same thing at an earlier cleaning appointment when I worked with Leighla.

There is absolutely nothing pleasant about having these procedures done as you probably know. But everyone at this office had my comfort and pain mind during all the work that they did over a five hour period.

The crowns were replaced on their in-house milling machine while I waited so there will be no second trip back to the office for a fitting. Both grounds fit perfect and experiencing no pain after this rigorous procedure

They also did a great job laying out all the cost associated with the work and advise me in advance what my out-of-pocket expenses would be for each step.

No one wants to do this type of thing, but I can tell you for sure that if you do it here it’s unlikely you’re going to experience any pain the next day and they’re going to do their best to keep you pain-free during the process. Good luck!

Excellent doctors and staff. Take it from a person who hates going to the dentist and suffers from anxiety while there, this dentist group is really good at calming patients and performing the treatment quickly and efficiently with terrific bedside manners. I highly recommend this dental office for anyone! Dr. Eileen Abdollahi is wonderful!

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST. This place is unethical that doesnt care about your health, a scam that will do whatever it takes to push you for their extremely overpriced services.

EXTREMEMLY OVERPRICE and PUSHY: They told my husband that he needed a root canal, crown, etc. Their root canal alone for 1 teeth is $4,387, crown is $2,633 and some other services with around 1k - more than 2k each. I was shocked. We told them that we need a day to shop around. The Dentist is Ghazal Vala literally pushed my husband to do it RIGHT AWAY with the following reasons:
- It’s the end of the year, he should do it ASAP, if the crown has some issues, then It may be pushed to next year’s benefits. I was like if there’s issues with your services, that’s on you, you should not let it happen. Reading previous reviews on Yelps I’m seeing they did mess up lots of crown for people.
- Dr. appointment is not available. He’s only avail once every 2 week but then it may not be avail.
- She rather has him doing it now than wait a little because the pain may come at any moment.
- Some other reasons I dont remember, but I felt extremely pressured, intimidated and being shamed for just the ideas of shopping around.

My husband ended up doing that 1st service the same day. I decided to check around and was told by multiple places that a lot of times, there is no need for a root canal work, also it depends on the tooth, but highest price before insurance is only around 1k, NOT almost 5k. This is disturbing!! They are eating off patient’s pocket with no empathy at all.

UNETHICAL: Today, I went here for the first time just for a normal cleaning with my husband. I’m healthy and have no issues or pain, so I thought I just do a normal cleaning. They tole me that I needed a deep cleaning knowing that I’m 5 month pregnant, they said they just need a clearance from my OB. My OB came back to me quickly said that, I should wait until after delivery, unless it is very necessary. After that, I decided to go for a 2nd opinion, the other place said that my teeth is fine, a normal cleaning would do the work, especially I’m pregnant, I should avoid deep cleaning and the numb meds. Reading all the reviews here, seeing that many other pts was being pushed the same way. This is not just for the money, but clearly they didnt care about my health and my baby’s health. This is unacceptable!!!

Not to mention, some Front Desk staff and phone person are unfriendly. I will never come back.

Please avoid this malpractice place!

The new younger doctor, Dr. Abdollahi there, was amazing. I struggle so much with the dentist, tbh my least favorite place on earth. she made me feel so comfortable and for the first time in years I was able to relax while getting a filling filled. I normally cry and shake, when I get dental work done. She was seriously amazing and the girls at the front are always so nice.

Jamie my dental hygienist is amazing. She takes her time to explain my treatment and is very gentle. I saw Dr. Eileen for the first time and was so comfortable with her as well. I will continue to see them both on a regular basis . Thank you Mission Dental for your professional and caring treatment.
