Impossible to speak to your loved one by phone in this facility. No phones in the rooms and no porrtable phones. At least 50% of the time when you call no one answers and if they do you're put on hold and you are often disconnected. When you do reach a live person they have to go to the pts room, get the pt out of bed and wheel him/her to the desk. Because this is extra work they ofter say the pt is sleeping or doesn't want to get up.Once at the desk, the pt has no privacy with their coversation and often is hurried to hang up by staff or other patients.

My mom is doing well in this place. We were having a very hard time looking for a covalence home for her. We didn't want to leave her with anyone, but didn't have a choice, because our family couldn't know how to care for her needs. Now she's doing great and all our family can visit her anytime. We all love her very much. How you make the best choice for your parents. God bless you and your family.

My mom was in this place for a year and it was terrible. They let her lay there for 3 days and get severly dyrated. We saw her went we went to visit and had to call an ambulane. She was taken back and 2 days later she died. Dont understand how a 24/7 facility wouldnt no she hadnt eaten or drank anything for 3 days. I would not recommend this facility at all.

We are thankful for Merriot Manor My mother n law has been there since October 2021 we were caring for her at home but her Vasular Dementia got to hard for us to give her the care she needed It was hard looking for her a good home we found this one and it has been a blessing they were so helpful the staff nurses social workerskeep us informed of all her care the cna's are great with her we are very satisfied and grateful not to worry because she is in good hands.
