This family owned and operated pharmacy is one of the best pharmacies I have been to in my life.

For being a small business I was surprised when I learned that they deliver Mon-Sat.

Even before moving down here I have always supported small and/or family owned businesses. Rudy, the owner/pharmacist, is very friendly. He genuinely cares about this community and all of his customers.
My guess is that the way Rudy treats his customers as if they're family, is the reason Medved's Pharmacy was voted best pharmacy in the Mon Valley presented by the Observer Reporter.

If I could give less stars I would. I had surgery on my back a few weeks ago. I stayed at my moms after to have help while I was healing. I took my prescription to a pharmacy near her house and they were out of what I needed so they recommended Medved's. I took my script to them and they filled I then found out they didn't enter the script correctly to the insurance. I went home from my moms once I healed and got another script once I ran out. I took it to my regular pharmacy to have it filled and that's when I found out that Medved's didn't enter the precious one correctly. I called Medved's to explain what happened and the pharmacist asked what pharmacy I was at. When I told him he got very nasty with me stating I was jumping from pharmacy to pharmacy, said he would fix it and then hung up on me. Later I called the insurance to see if it was corrected they stated he did not fix it he actually ended up sending a denial thru so now I'm going to spend the next 4 days in pain without a prescription because he will not release my script.

Thank you Medved's for making my already horrible time and increasingly worse time.

I will never go to them again and will tell everyone how horrible that really really are!

If you are looking for a pharmacy that feels like you are important and if you have question ,they spend the time with you ,they will answer any question you have. This place is like walking into a down home feeling .you feel comfortable as soon as you take one step inside . Just take a breath,and step in and you remember ,your childhood. Believe me this place is great .you will love it . Try it even if you don't need medication .go get a card or a pack of gum . It's great .
