PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS FACILITY!
My 85-year-old grandmother, who has dementia, was sent to the hospital under a bed hold and was turned away at the door when she was cleared to return in 29 degree weather. The hospital staff themselves were shocked by the facility’s actions.

This is a blatant violation of the bed hold policy and an absolute disgrace. The treatment was not only unprofessional but deeply inhumane. Their behavior was negligent, heartless, and even racially charged.

Our elders deserve better than this. Families, please be warned.

No one will return my calls! I had my entire family call the State! I hope they never get a new admission again .

I am utterly disgusted by the treatment my grandmother received. She was sent to the emergency room under a bed hold and was refused re-entry to the nursing facility once cleared by the ER. How can a nursing home turn away an 85-year-old woman, diagnosed with dementia, without compassion or even the decency to coordinate with the hospital on alternative options?

This is a clear violation of the bed hold policy. To make matters worse, the facility claimed that she posed a threat to staff and residents. An elderly woman with dementia a threat?

This behavior is inhumane, unacceptable, and disgraceful. I will be reporting this to the Department of Health immediately. Our elders deserve dignity and care, not abandonment.

After a period of time at another facility and a few days at home, my mother needed to return to a rehab facility. To be honest, at first we were concerned about Meadowcrest. It was obviously and older facility, smaller in size, and did not have the same fancier looking enmities. BUT, in reality, the food was soooo much better and my mom is a picky eater. That alone was a big indicator. But the staff at Meadowcrest was attentive, friendly, professional, professional competent in the areas of expertise, attentive to details, just a very professional and relieving experience. The prior place wasn't bad, except for the food which was, but Meadowcrest across the board provided a level of service and commitment that would be hard to meet. Even after my mom's release, their business person and social worker have helped us to navigate some of the other systems of support available, returning our calls and our emails in a very timely manner. Service they really didn't have to, but still chose to do. My food picky, environment picky, mom, said that is were she would want to go back too if needed. From my mom, that is big.

Our experience with my mother’s rehabilitation after a fall was absolutely wonderful. The entire staff was so supportive, helpful and attentive from the administration to the maintenance. Physical therapist were amazing with making therapy a fun experience.

Very pleased with the staff at Meadowcrst! They are on top of things with my brothers care. From the help with insurance, his physical therapy and overall nursing care. It gives me peace of mind that he is in good hands!

I don't understand why aids turn off the call button and leave. Tonight it was turned off by an aid and I was told they'd let my aid know. Finally I rang again. My aid was eating. If I had been told that I would have been more patient. One aid tonight threw a gown to me that was wet. When I said something she said it was wet from the wash clothes. Wet is uncomfortable when it is the gown that is covering you. She could have put the cloths on the hospital table which was available. Tonight has not been a positive experience.

Filthy and lacks any kind of professionalism. The place is actually scary - no one seems skilled in the medical field ( pt etc) - depressing environment - filled with despair 🙁 don’t take a loved one there.

Zero to aides..zero to food...zero to social worker.
Bankrupt and should close.
A few good workers overshadowed by the rest.
Dont send loved ones here.
Several nice and helpful aides but really have some nasty and rude ones.
