My husband spent over 6 weeks at Marshall Manor rehabilitation center with a broken bone in his hip, the staff and PT’s were extremely concerned, professional and wonderful with his therapy. I would recommend this rehab facility to anyone. Every one was very friendly and helpful and he’s walking again. They really know what they’re doing..

Neglectful nurses. Allow people's families to sit in their own waste for hours, and when sonething is finally done they are rude and aggressive to older folk who cant help it. Trashy trashy nursing home. Never take anyone you love here.

Serving as a Hospice Chaplain for the last 3.5 years I frequent many facilities through out the North Alabama region. Marshall Manor is one of the finest. They have a caring committed staff from the administrator (Linda) ,nurses, to the kind aides. The facility is kept clean and so are the patients. Most importantly the residents are valued and loved and that is demonstrated every day.

I would advise avoiding this place at all costs. My grandmother was admitted to Marshall Manor for rehab. Shortly afterward we found out she had lung cancer that had moved into her bones also. They consistently served food that was horrible, and in some cases unidentifiable. She was bed bound and had to push the nurse call button for assistance to use the bathroom. Once it was an HOUR before anyone came to help her. Finally, when we were trying to coordinate transportation for her appointment at the cancer care center, they were absolutely unwilling to help until I enlisted the help of the ombudsmen and threatened to file a complaint with their corporate office. They went so far as to lie to the scheduler from the Cancer Care Center when she called herself to try to arrange transportation. They claimed my grandmother was "very mobile". She was totally bed bound. When the Dr and the Cancer Care Center saw my grandmother, he apologized profusely and said he had been misled about her condition. He had her admitted immediately to Shepherd's Cove (a hospice facility). I regret immensely that my grandmother had to spend two of her final weeks at this horrible facility.

Marshall Manor is a wonderful facility full of people who were called to serve. They really pour their heart into their residents. They offer wonderful activities and social opportunities. I can't express how wonderful this facility is. They provide the upmost care to all their residents.

The Director of Nursing is a total wack job psychopath. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I use to volunteer here. Its in a quiet community. They do have a lot of activities for their patients.
