I was directed to this provider after having temporarily lost my insurance coverage with MPI and production slowing. I must say the the initial visit went well , but the events that unfolded after were disgusting and disrespectful to say the least. My issues comes in where I had to request a referral to see a specialist that I had already been a patient for many years. Following protocol I had to see the home plan Dr to make said request to the attending physician I did not have an issue with facilitating my request. The issue was with the front office administrators in charge of completing the next steps in the process. In my dealings I was told that I could not request the higher quality of care and that i was made to prove my prior patient relationship with the specialist. This also came after i was told to contact the authorization center myself to do their job and was then directed to a supervisor whom tried to make contact with both Lucy and Karla an were sent to voicemail on several occasions throughout the day . Now i will add that I have a medical situation that needs to be addressed in an urgent fashion as it is a quality of life matter, you would think that the staff would have been trained to be empathetic to all types of patients and their medical needs instead I was met with condescending tones and attitudes and being told what I needed to do as though I worked in the medical office. I managed to comply with their demands in hopes to get a positive resolve but not in my case, I was met with nothing but gum smacking , short attitudes ,and being spoke to like I could not understand or comprehend what i was being told. I have said all of this to state the just because you have a job and it pays the bills why not take a moment to see things from the other persons perspective as the quality of insurance coverages should not determine how one is ultimately treated. We are not all lower class of people.

The very best dr.
After losing my union IATSE insurance, was able to get to his service... should I Regain my MPTF insurance, I hope I can continue with Dr. KURZMAN...he's that great
