This is the second time I’ve experienced this. First time I was the patient. Canceled appointments with ample notice via phone call and was still charged no show fees for the appointments. Spoke with the book keeper, with no resolution. Not only that, I was then sent to collections for fees I feel were not deserving.

Most recently my wife was the patient. Same situation, appointments were canceled with ample notice but still got charged with no show fees. Same dispute over being charged for appointments that were canceled in advance. Again sent to collections for no show fees.

I believe the amount sent to collections was around $75, so affordablity is not my issue but the principle. Cancellation of appointments with sufficient notice is not the same as not showing for an appointment. In my opinion there is a communication problem to address between whoever is fielding calls and tracking appointment schedules.

This repeat business practice overshadows any service they provide in my opinion. Warning to the wise. Go elsewhere unless you enjoy the nickel and dime treatment.

Edit: Just saw the response, 2 YEARS LATER. I agree with charging the customer a fee if they "no show" to a scheduled appointment without notice for the reason you highlighted, however these appointments were canceled with sufficient notice per the signed agreement.
BTW, your timeline is off on the mutual friend comment.

Called and made appt and asked about insurance. It was brushed off and said we will bill you if needed. Got a $533 bill bc insurance didn't pay...Mind you this is 2 visits. Also got charged $70 cancellation charges, which I will admit to missing one due to work conflict, but called for the other. They said I signed paperwork and knew...paperwork was "sign here, here and inital here" thing. You want to trust when doing these things but geez..

A truly great experience with the whole team at Mandeville Physical Therapy and Wellness. The personal touch from my first visit, after hip replacement, to my last therapy session was amazing. I would recommend anyone needing physical therapy to go see Matt and his team. Thank you for caring and helping me recover.

Most doctors choose the physical therapy treatment facility for their patients, sadly, these patients don't realize that they can choose where they want to go for their physical therapy needs.I chose Mandeville's Physical Therapy & Wellness over Sportsmed and OTC because they provide more of a personal touch to their services. With them I don't feel like another number being pushed through to get the next patient in. The staff is very caring to my needs without losing their professionalism. There is also great parking. I highly recommend Mandeville Physical Therapy & Wellness to anyone who expects the highest quality of care!

Amazing place and staff, the physical therapy staff and level of care are amazing and top notch compared to other places that I have been to, I definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for amazing therapy!!!
