Everything about this place is great. The business office staff is always there to help. Have any questions and they are readily available and always works with you. The receptionist is always smiling and seems to know everyone by name (families). Once you get to the back the nurses are all busy going from room to room, caring for our loved ones. Linwood is a great caring place to have our loved ones. Very family oriented.

My mom has been gone two years now. She was so happy to get out of there. During Covid she was isolated which was good. But one time I went in to use her bathroom and 2 Cock Roaches. I told the head nurse she said bug guy is coming out in a day or so. Other things have happened like falling out of bed and waiting to take her to ER.

I am the Marketing Director for Linwood Meadows Care Center. Our facility is one of few skilled nursing facilities in the city of Visalia, accepting patients from Kaweah Health Medical Center, as well as Tulare, Hanford and Fresno hospitals. While our facility specializes in short-term physical therapy and rehab, several of our long-term residents call Linwood home.

Speaking from an insider perspective, our care center is made up of dedicated staff that work to make this facility a home. Round the clock nursing care, physical therapy, housekeeping, dining and activities make for an enriching experience for each one of our residents.

I have attended several activities with our residents including bingo, crafts, movies, painting and karaoke. They look forward to our afternoon activity everyday. Our common room contains a library of books, games and a morning coffee social. As the COVID pandemic comes to an end, we are making the effort to be as welcoming as possible to visitors such as family, friends, kids and pets! We currently accommodate birthdays, family gatherings and family photos. We will be stocking up on toys, treats, books, games and puzzles as as we anticipate the influx of family visits.

My husband recently had surgery which resulted in him needing additional care and physical therapy when discharged from the hospital. The care he received was amazing! Therapy got him up and walking in no time by building his strength and confidence. Nursing staff were very attentive and caring. The facility is clean and with a welcoming atmosphere. Office staff are friendly and helpful as were the housekeepers and maintenance staff. My husband never complained about his care, the food or any staff person. I cannot say enough positive remarks about this facility.

My mom was here for a short time and loved it. The care is exceptional, the staff go above and beyond to take care of their residents like they were their own family. The food is wonderful. Can’t say enough good things about it.

My mom recently had an extended stay at this facility. She was well tended to, checked on often, given the space to move about freely if she wanted to, was encouraged to join in their daily activities, and basically was treated like a princess (in my opinion). Her biggest complaint was the food…which I imaging cooking food for the masses that everyone enjoys would be difficult anywhere you go.. she loved her nurses and CNAs. She loved the physical therapy crew. While she was ready to leave and be home, she was sad to leave the people that work there. I think this is a fantastic place to do rehabilitation post hospital stay.

I started working at Linwood Meadows Care a year ago. It's been fun and great experience for me. I enjoy all the residents and all my coworkers.
