Jay has been an absolute gift to our family. My son has always struggled to express his emotions and communicate how he’s truly feeling, and Jay has this incredible way of creating a safe, calm space where my son finally feels seen, heard, and understood.

Not only is Jay skilled at helping him open up, but he does it with patience, compassion, and a genuine connection that makes all the difference. He’s both professional and personable—always consistent with communication and incredibly supportive to us as parents as well.

We are so grateful for his guidance and the impact he’s had on our son’s growth and emotional development. Jay is truly one of a kind, and we can’t recommend him enough.

About a month ago, I had 2 appointments scheduled close together. I got a sign in link sent and signed in, but the link that was sent was sent for the wrong appointment.. My reminder also reminded me for the wrong appointment tent at the wrong time. When I logged in according f to my reminder and the link sent, I was let into the meeting only to be told that I missed the appointment and would have to reschedule. I responded back and informed the provider that the reminder and link were sent for this time and that it was a medication appointment and I really needed it. I got no response back from the provider. Then when I was scheduling another appointment, I was told that I had a no call no show for that appointment. When I told the scheduler that I had signed in and shown for the appointment, and even spoke with the provider and it was due to LifeStance error, I was told it counted against me and there was nothing to be done about it. I had a mental health provider and every time we met, the connection was horrible; in fact, so bad that my therapist actually referred me to a local therapist I could visit in person, and stated the reason was because she could not provide me the help I deserved due to being unable to hear or understand each other because of the connection. Fast forward a week or so and I had another appointment scheduled for medication provider. My provider showed up late to the appointment with no apology or explanation, and then when I explained to him that I had no referral but chose to seek help myself because I wanted to be a better version of myself and knew that , at 44, it was finally time for me to seek help through medication; as I had avoided medication most of my life, but that I had an open DHS case and was on parole, he stated that I MUST sign a release of information for parole or I would not be helped. I explained again that this appointment had nothing whatsoever to skip with parole and that there was no referral, he still insisted that I sign the release of information for parole. I stated that no, I did not want to do that because this was my personal business and I wanted to sort things out for myself without other people on my mental health issues, he stated that if I didn’t sign the release he would not help me. I told him this did not work for me and that I wanted a new provider. This morning, I had an appointment scheduled for 7:30 AM and started trying to g to log in at 7:28. For several minutes, the site just spun as if it were connecting and then would not connect. After refreshing several times, the site took me to the sign in screen. Once I entered my information in it would take me to the next verification page for sign in. Once I entered that information, I was taken back to the first sign in page; as if in a loop. I texted the number my link was sent from and got a response stating I could not text and to call the number provided to speak with someone. By this time, I was already onto my next appointment.

Buyer Beware. I wish I could give this company ZERO stars! For over a year, Lifestance has been sending in claims incorrectly with either the incorrect business name or incorrct NPI. My insurance company did absolutely nothing to help me figure out what the problem was, even when i told the customer support lady from the insurance company that some of the claims had a different practice name than the others. Some previous and later claims were paid correctly when the Lifestance name was on the claim (for claims with the exact same doctor and same exact procedure code) and others were shown to be out-of-network - but same doctor and same procedure code but a different "practice name" -not "Lifestance " was put on the claim and possibly the wrong NPI number. THIS STARTED IN JUNE 2024 and STILL HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED AFTER OVER ONE YEAR! If you don't want to get theatening letters when your insurance doesn't cover what they are supposed to cover -- if you don't want to feel like you are pounding your head against a wall over an over -- if you don't want to have to figure out how your claims are supposed to be billed - then find another provider! DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER!

Dr Menendez has been so beyond what i had expected when I first started treatment. She’s very attentive, easy to talk to, she actually cares to hear what you’re saying and asks all of the right questions so she’s able to help as much as she possibly can (which is rare in my experience). I wish I could rate more than 5 stars because she definitely has made my experience a 10/10.

This was ridiculously over priced!! I could not get anyone from billing to message me back or call me back. I was charged $315.00 for a 40 minute introduction.

Life stance has been fine in terms of customer service and scheduling, no complaints. I'm giving 5 stars because of my experience with Lisa Rich. She is amazing and so knowledgeable. She has been able to give me clear answers to things that others haven't been able to or have given me poor information. She values my input as a patient and works with me to develop my treatment plan. Seeing her has not only been valuable for finding the best medication regimen for me, but is also therapeutic. She really cares about what is going on with you. She has great insights.
