My mother is cared for by Life Pittsburgh. I think it is great that they offer services to those in need. However the level of care leaves something to be desired. She's had some sort of infection in her eye for weeks now, has seen an eye doctor who said she urgently needs to see a neurologist. Life Pittsburgh took forever to get her scheduled to see the neurologist, and when the finally did the appointment is 2 months away. How is that "urgent"?

Also last week she complained to her nurse that comes to the house about issues with her right foot. One of the toes was BLACK, and the nurse did nothing. Today I sit here with her at the ER waiting for a CT scan to check on her arteries, while now two of her toes have black tips. How was nothing done by the nurse a week ago when this first started?

I understand that the services that Life Pittsburgh provide are free or very little cost, but when people depend on those services they need to be reliable. I don't feel like Life Pittsburgh is reliable.

Life Pittsburgh in Greentree is outstanding. Every single person that we have spoken to or met with has been amazing. Their care and concern is insurmountable! It takes special people to do what they do with the amount of patience that they have shown. They will be a blessing for loved one.

Horrible, incompetent, deceptive, overrated, and dishonest service from multiple areas of the care continuum. The mother of my significant other received certain home services from this subpar organization. Some services promised and not delivered upon. They do not follow orders from the doctors in the hospital, rather their own doctors that make decisions on their own, whether it's for the best of the patient or not. This company should be investigated, both at the local , state and federal levels for deceptive, neglectful, and sometimes fraudulent practices.
