I never write reviews but seriously this place needs to get their act together. My son has a fracture in his spine, he had an appointment set and they called and told me that his appointment had to be rescheduled a month out!!!!!! Are you kidding me? They do not care about their patients or medical issues obviously! They did the same thing to me when my knee was injured, I still haven’t seen them because they kept rescheduling since a year ago. Absolutely ridiculous!

They had a PA set and cast my sons broken bone. When I asked if my som is seeing an orthopedist, they medical assistant told me he is a DO and they are all orthopedists. I feel deceived and lied to. The PA seemed unsure of himself. He set his bone AFTER putting the cast on, (set it while cast was hardening) THEN took an xray. He did not set the bone completely straight, but it was too late because the cast was already on. The orthopedist i saw when we got home to NJ said the cast was put on too soon and it was put on incorrect especially around the thumb as the hand needs to not be so isolated and able to flex within the cast
The PA told me i should take him to a walk in orthopedic when i get home to have it fixed
The supervising MD never came in to see my som or that things were done with the correct protocol My son had to have the cast removed and the bone set properly and have a new cast put on. I would never let this place treat my child ever again

Good clean atmosphere but while waiting the receptionist lingered on personal phone calls but otherwise satisfied visit. Brought my son to the walk-in clinic section for fluid in his knee.

Never wait long if I have an appointment and the staff is very friendly. There is also an urgent care entrance where you don't really have to wait at all and all your tests and results will be available immediately

Was referred here by my employer
for a workman's comp claim to be seen for my right shoulder. Called for an appt. Very pleasant staff with scheduling my appt. Was given a perfect date and time convenient to my work schedule for me. Was impressed with everything with my contact and conversation with the staff. Thank you for being so competent! Looking forward to meeting the doctors on staff.

Dr Henderson spent seven minutes total on my consultation. The staff has no clue. Follow was seen by his PA that’s not a follow up and editing your portal at end of visit was in no way how appointment went. No X-ray no mri mind you I’m paying not dr Henderson. Still in pain that’s Scranton orthopedic and Chris Henderson should have figured when my family doctor recommended him should have been a red flag.

I called about their walk-in clinic to ask if they administer Cortisone shots. I was told over the phone that she could not tell me whether or not they would because I needed to be evaluated first. Okay, fine. I get there, sit there for an hour, get called back and asked why I was there and was taken in for updated xrays of my spine. They took 2 pictures of my spine. The doctor came in and told me that nothing was broken or anything, which I knew. That's not why I was there. The doctor was very rude to me and told me that it was an "emergency" walk-in, for people that need something faster than the ER. In my case, it was an emergency. I'm to the point where I can't walk, drive, stand, sit, sleep, anything without a problem. I was supposed to be set up with an appointment for a Cortisone shot that no one ever set me up with, so I decided to take things into my own hands since no doctor in this area wants to help me. I'm in excrutiating pain every day. I have a disc degeneration disease, and it became an emergency when I was basically unable to move. I guess that's not good enough though because they did absolutely nothing for me. They said that they would need imaging on my spine to administer the shot, which they don't have available there. So thank you to the lady I spoke to over the phone that could have very easily said that they don't administer the shot there. It was real simple. A total waste of time and very rude doctor. This isn't the first time I've had issues with this place. I would never recommend this place to anyone. You're better off going to the ER than their walk-in, and any other orthopedic doctor for whatever it is you need.
