Worst emergency room care I have ever had in my entire life. I came in with a stab wound in my hand, pregnant, and they had me sit there for hours while people who came in way after me were able to be seen. I left out of their and went straight over to St Luke's where I was seen immediately and was given the stitches I needed without having to wait. The nurse at the front desk was rude and of no help. Staff there is extremely rude and unprofessional. I don't understand why st Luke's took me right away and took care of me but lhvn refused me care. Do not go to this hospital. They don't want you there anyway. Worst nurses and staff ever. They do not care about patients care. They literally let me bleed out in the waiting room for 4 hours.

I’ve never been so mistreated and degraded at a hospital in my life. I arrived collapsed on the floor due to pain and the nurse pushing the wheelchair comes to me and goes “get in the chair”. Doesn’t help, nothing. Then proceeds to tell me “try to calm down”. I went in to the hospital terrified and nobody showed any compassion at the front. Once I got admitted, the staff was friendly but nobody seemed to care that I was throwing up all over myself begging for a barf bag. One nurse named Phylicia was SO rude and when I asked her to help me go to the bathroom because I felt like the vomiting would make me pee my pants, she says “hold on” and leaves, and doesn’t come back. So at a certain point I start vomiting again and peeing my pants from the straining, so I push the button for the nurse and Phylicia comes back and says so aggressively “I said I was coming back!” So between vomiting I managed to say “I’m sorry, I’m peeing my pants”. I know how hard healthcare workers work and I strive to be very kind as I’m sure they deal with so much. I just feel like the lack of bedside manner from so much of the staff was so unnecessary. I even tried to complain and was told that they would bring the charge nurse but nobody came to talk to me. Don’t go here for ANYTHING. They don’t care about their patients, they don’t want you there.

Came in due obstruction caused by a hernia. I was quickly seen, and was taken care of. The nurses, especially Nurse Kim, were phenomenal. Friendly, professional, and caring. I would've given this a place a 5 star rating, but at the beginning of the daytime nurse's shift my call for assistance was shut off and ignored. That is unacceptable. There are patients with serious issues and you aren't supposed to ignore them because you want 5 more minutes before getting started. Be better.

My appointment was with Interventional Radiology department for drail removal.
Polite greeting at Check In. There were a few people waiting and my wait time was about 10 minutes before it was my turn. Everyone in the department was very friendly had me laughing with their sense of humor and banter between them! The appointment took longer than I anticipated but the Doctor needed to be confident in removing my drain! End result, drain was removed! I left the department with a smile on my face! Special shout out to Suzzette RN. and the doctor, and the staff for making my brief stay comfortable every step if the way!

Back again for a scheduled Ultrasound Guided Liver Biopsy at the Day Surgery Center.
Everyone in this department were caring and understanding! All the nurses which I had 3 or 4 were Great! Have to admit I was scared and my anxiety was through the roof! The nursing staff made my stay comfortable and reassured me that I was going to be fine and before I knew it I was in my way to get my test done!
The doctor was very nice and explained what was going to happen during my test and before I knew it I was in recovery!
Recovery time was 4 hours and I was able to have drinks and snacks! Then it was time to go home! Every LVH, I've been to 4 of them, the staff and doctors have been top notch!
And I'm glad I decided to continue my care with the Lehigh Valley Health System.

When to the ER 3/3 Dr. Zembrzuski attended me. Horrible Dr. no manners, unprofessional. Did not send my meds to the pharmacy. I had to make another trip to the ER and inform the front nurse which by the way was awesome. She stated she will take care of this and have another Dr. send the script. This Dr. tells me the diagnosis and left immediately. Dr's forget the patient comes first and they have an oath to treat ALL patients with courtesy and respect especially when they are sick. They need to be sympathetic. For them is a money making business. I will be reporting him to the hospital and writing a letter. Dr. Zembrzuski you represent the hospital, you are not above anyone. Treat patients with respect.

On 1/13/2025 I went there with stomach problem was discharged 2 am. I accidentally left a important medication behind. I got a call from the nurse, but my phone was still on silent. I got home heard the voice mail "I left my meds there, they'll be up with the front desk the next afternoon 1/14/ 2025, 11am I arrived and my medication is not where I was told it would be. The women at the front intake desk at the ER went above and beyond. They were so polite while doing it. It did take a long time, but they did end up locating my medication. I'm very grateful that they took the time to help fix a misunderstanding that wasn't their fault. Thank you from Thomas Jessee

Lehigh valley are big racists they pretend to be ok with staff who speaks other languages but then immediately ask them not to speak their language while on shift. They also have staff that take money from patients. They have staff who ask patients to buy them and their kids gifts. Lets not forget the staff who ignore patients when they need help. They should be ashamed! Lehigh valley do better and do a better background check on the people you are hiring.
