Whenever I have a question they call me back the same day. In fact, it is usually within one to two hours. Katherine and Sally have also helped me many times. Of course they are also warm and professional. I highly recommend Leesburg Sterling Family Practice.

Front office staff is very good. The staff drawing blood are great. They always get my blood on the first try which is hard to do with my veins. Highly recommend this practice.

They have been very good in helping get other specialized doctors involved when needed. The staff is friendly and the service has been great. I was referred to this practice after a visit to the ER. I cannot speak to the medical service; it may be amazing, but at least one front desk associate was shockingly rude. To be fair, someone from the office called me the day before, and they were lovely to speak with and very helpful. But when I called back the next day, I was greeted by an amazingly caustic and rude person, and I am used to military facilities that are high on function and low on frills like customer service.

After explaining the reason for my call and answering a few normal questions, she told me they didn't have my chart in such an annoyed tone I thought I had truly insulted her by providing my birthdate and name. I asked why she was so annoyed by me and she repeated she didn't have my chart, I wasn't in her system, and she's checked every way she knows. I wasn't sure what to do with this information, so I reiterated I was new to the area and referred to them for a follow-up after a trip to the ER. After some huffing and puffing at me, she again repeated she didn't have my chart as though I had some power over this or even knowledge of the relevance.

She showed no interest in helping me or talking to me like a human instead of a piece of trash. I debated providing her more details, hoping it may help her help me, but realized this was not likely a good fit for me. So I thanked her and told her I would seek medical services elsewhere.

I hope she was having a bad day and this is not endemic to their services or office as a whole. However, the front office staff is a critical element to the overall trust and safety between a medical facility and its patients, so unfortunately, I (and I suspect others) will never know anything but the caustic first impression.

The whole family has seen Dr. Donald Lee here for over a decade - and it's a 45 minute drive each way. We have a TON of choices closer to us, but he's AMAZING. That's probably why appointments with him are scheduled a few months out now. But it's worth it for a doctor who takes his patient care as seriously as Doc Lee does.

One of my lab tests came back too high. He repeated the test, then sent me to see a specialist. When they did testing, Doc Lee had already done one of the tests, which is unusual. However, it showed that he sent me to the right specialist. (Other results could have sent me to one of two other specialists.)

The front office has been great too. No problems with billing. I called and needed a specialist referral. I was hoping for an email but couldn't write down the information because I was driving. I called back 20-30 minutes later and blanked on the specialist, but the receptionist remembered my call and had the information ready.

The walk-in clinic has been great. I've used it several times, seeing whoever was on call, and had nothing but positive experiences. We've also used the lab at Stone Springs as well as the one at Landsdown, again with no problems.

I have been a patient at this practice since I was a child. While the physicians have changed their approach to my wellbeing has never changed. Each physician as well as all medical professionals have treated me like family. I never worry when I have an illness as they always have a plan with a follow up. Clearly others get that same treatment as the lobby is usually full.

Dr Smarth and nurse Katie are the best!!!

They are very caring and pay attention to the details. Dr Smarth takes the time to answer all your questions and inform you of your options rather than just tell you what she recommends. Dr. Smarth is the primary care physician for my entire family. I was so impressed with the care I received, I recommended her to my mother and my aunt. As soon as my kids were of age to no longer require pediatric care, I switched them to her practice as well.

Except for one unpleasant experience at the front desk, everything was great! Dr. Charen is an excellent doctor who takes time to see his patients (my son and I). Very thorough and not rushing!
