Dr. Kohara is caring and thorough. She takes time with her patients. It is easy to book an appointment and be seen. Both my kids love her. We have been with her for almost three years. I highly recommend her.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Kohara and her staff. As a first time mother, I was very worried (and sad!) when I found that my 3yr old son may have some struggles with his vision. Dr. Kohara is very knowledgeable, explained everything in detail (with informational email follow ups), very patient and warm with my son during the eye exams and recommended exactly what my son needed to not only help my son see better but also to improve his vision and correct issues early in childhood. Dr. Kohara made me feel at ease, reassuring me in a manner that really helped my mama heart. It’s the little things that go a long way. In addition, the office is very clean, Dr. Kohara is always punctual, I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes, front desk staff are very straightforward with billing and insurance (no surprise bills). And last but not least, my son actually enjoys our visits, remembers them fondly and always leaves with a toy or a treat and a smile. Thank you, Dr. Kohara!

Dr. Kohara is a lifesaver (literally) - she caught a health issue that so many other doctors didn’t. I’m an adult patient of hers and she’s incredibly thorough and has great chair-side manner. Her office folks are also super nice and on top of everything.

We’ve been with Kohara Eye for a little over three years now and have been so happy with Dr. Kohara and her staff. Everything from routine eye exams, glasses, contact fittings have all been such a smooth experience for our child. We also appreciate that all costs and coverage are clearly communicated upfront so there is no misunderstanding, and staff has been so helpful providing requested forms. We were referred to Dr Kohara by our son's pediatrician when he tested 20/50 at his 4 yr check up. Dr K was patient and loving with him and got him super cool dino glasses that he loves. When he put them on he said "I can see". Que parent tears. We visit Dr K several times a year and every time it's a good experience. Highly recommended!!

We are beyond thankful for Dr. K. She spared my 12 month old an eye surgery for a clogged tear duct by using manual massage. Her office is beautiful and they saw us early or on time for both of our appointments. Highly recommend!
