I recently had surgery and my doctor recommended that I have lymphatic massage to help reduce inflammation and fluid retention and improve blood flow. I've been a patient of Dr. Sharon Thompson for several years already and knew she was the best one to go to for this type of massage. Dr. Sharon is excellent! Her wisdom, skill and compassion combine to provide an exceptional massage experience! I have trouble relaxing in general and she knows how to give the best queues to help my mind and body to relax. The first thing she teaches is to BREATHE! And to breathe properly from the diaphragm! You'd be amazed at what a difference that makes throughout the day if you practice it! She also has a lot of knowledge regarding post surgery care which has been a huge help in my recovery! In addition to her wonderful personal care, her office is clean, comfortable and inviting. It makes the whole appointment time an enjoyable one! I can't say enough about how beneficial lymphatic massage is at anytime, but especially after surgery. You will appreciate Dr. Sharon's extraordinary massage skills in addition to her PT expertise!

I love Sharon!! My right shoulder had been out of place for years. No one could fix it, but when I saw her she fixed it in 10 seconds. I have EDS and she is always putting me back together again. She is really knowledgeable about the human body. She knows about MCAS (mast cell) which is rare to find in providers.
It's hard to find a therapist for visceral and pelvic therapy. She is so nice, which makes things more comfortable and relaxed. I want to carry her around with me all of the time. I can't say enough good things about her!!!!
(Plus she has cute kids!)

TL;DR
- easy booking/payment experience
- she’s super thorough and takes the time to explain/answer questions
- appointments never feel rushed
- calming and reassuring vibe
- worth every penny

So I used to think— after birthing multiple kids vaginally— that peeing a little bit every time you sneeze/cough/jump was pretty much normal and just a part of life. It’s not— it doesn’t have to be. If any of these issues plague you, please go and see Sharon.

It’s incredibly easy to book an appointment on her website and she is worth every penny! She’s super thorough and takes the time to answer all your questions, explain how any issues/pain relate to the rest of your body, and talk about clear next steps. Appointments never feel rushed. She also has a really calm and reassuring vibe/bedside manner— and especially with pelvic floor health stuff, I just think that’s super important! She’s also really great at explaining what she’s going to do before it happens, so you’re prepared and ready.

I know physical therapy is different for everyone, but I was able to see results right away, especially with the practice exercises she recommended for when I’m at home. The TMI conclusion: I don’t accidentally pee a little whenever I sneeze/cough/exercise anymore. I cannot stress enough how life-changing that has been.

Mamas, run— don’t walk! Go book that appointment with Sharon! And also, after you do, you’ll probably stop peeing your pants when you run! 😅 You’re welcome.

This review is LONG overdue. I have a bit of a complex ortho history after 2 major hamstring surgeries with sciatic nerve involvement. Then add in pregnancy and recovering from a traumatic emergent c-section! I have seen MANY physical therapists in my life. Sharon is such a gift to our community and a wealth of knowledge. My first goal was to first be pain-free during normal daily activities. My second goal was to return to high level workouts. I am happy to report that BOTH goals have been met! The strategies I learned from Sharon were invaluable. I was able to recover even faster after baby #2. Sharon is the best investment in your health!
