I recently had a terrible experience at this dental group. I didn’t know that the dentist, hygienist, and office staff that were previously at this location under the same name,were all gone. When I called to make my annual appointment, I didn’t get any notice. I found out when it was time to clean my teeth. When the hygienist walked in, I could tell she wasn’t going to be a good “ fit “for me. The first thing I explained to her was that I’m an anti-Dental. I’ve had bad experiences in the past and I needed some extra TLC, especially since it was a new crew. The entire staff; , receptionist, dentist , as well as the hygienist were constantly trying to “up” sell me on numerous packages, which I really resented and felt was very unprofessional They could have at least waited until I was done with my services. But from the moment I walked in, they were trying to push this insurance package, extra services, etc. especially since I was a cash patient and didn’t have dental insurance. I was already spending hundreds of dollars on a set of x-rays of cleaning and an exam. It was really unprofessional. I walked out in the middle of the teeth cleaning because she was being too rough. Even when I was getting x-rays , she was being too rough turning my head I don’t know why a dentist would hire a hygienist like that, unless she was family. She didn’t even look like a hygienist. I wasn’t impressed with the dentist either. It’s a shame that the old dentist didn’t notify me that he was leaving. That was also poor business on his part. I wouldn’t go back to either of them. I found a much better dentist, so I’m glad I did. When you don’t have insurance and you’re spending hundreds of dollars, you need to make sure you’re getting good customer service as well as an experienced Dentist that actually enjoys his job

I would say, People like to call me crazy because I always love going to the dentist. And that’s because I love that feeling after cleaning and maintaining my oral hygiene… just gratifying. (Just fresh!)
This team at the Kenilworth Dental is why I keep this mentality.

This experience at Kenilworth Dental office was top notch, all the way from the greeting as soon as I walked in, the conversation with Tiana at the reception, to the consult with Dr.B who was very educational on who and what they do. & to top the entire experience during my cleaning process. Elaine my RDH was just patient, throughout with information and the entire process on what she was doing & very pleasant to work with. MUST have her as your dental hygienist.

I am extremely grateful for giving me an excellent experience during my visit.

Can’t wait for my next visit.

Come in for the first time today! It was great! They were super thorough and made sure to educate me on everything that was going on. Elaine was super sweet and made sure to go over the XR in details and made sure to answer all my questions. Dr. Basili was super informative and went above and beyond what was asked of him.

Super happy with them! Will continue my care with them!

Dr. Basili is hands down the most compassionate, caring and professional dentist I have ever seen. After years of horrible experiences with other dentists, I was very hesitant to try another but he walked me through everything. Explaining the steps, findings and plan of care that would be best for me and have me feeling most comfortable. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him and his staff. Everyone is absolutely amazing and understanding to “dentist anxiety”!

Watch out with their pricing. Do not agree on any work being done until they give you full details on how much the insurance will cover . I always go to 65 Broadway dental in Manhattan where I am told the full price before any work is being done. Not in Kenilworth Dental. I got unpleasant bill to pay 2 months after my visit . Go to 65 Broadway . No surprises there.Plus they didn't resolve my issue at all. My gums swelling came back the the next day. Did the same work at 65 Broadway for much less.
