We chose Kane for my grandma for its reputation of good care and moderate cost. It won’t win any awards for aesthetics or luxury, but the staff are friendly and competent.

I honestly do not know where to begin. My cousin is currently a patient at the Scott facility. From the very first time that her family became involved with the administration, and now the entire staff it has been something that I will remember the rest of my days. Everyone here are angels. They continually go out of their way in treatment of my cousin. They are just absolutely amazing. Caring and loving every minute of the day. I will be eternally grateful for all they have done for us!!!!

I cannot adequately express how much I appreciate and admire the entire community at Kane Community Living in Scott Twp. From the concierge and security staff, admissions staff, nurse aides, nurses, social services, activities, maintenance, housekeeping and dietary staff, they all were truly amazing in their kindness, care and compassion for my mom and for all of their residents. I am so grateful and thankful for all who took great care of my mother while she was a resident there to ensure that she had the best care and quality of life. While placing a loved one in a community can be the most difficult decision for a family, they assisted us in every aspect which resulted in a trusting and good partnership with us in our mother’s care. Thank you again to all of the staff who cared for and loved my mom. She loved you too.

It’s all about their staff. Everyone was incredible from the first day my grandmother moved in, up until she passed. They went above and beyond for the family every step of the way as well. They took the time to not just know my Gram’s name but her personality. Not one person walked into her room that wasn’t immediately friendly or patient with her. Though my gram wasn’t a big eater, her food was delivered on time and she was given plenty. Her room was always clean. They allowed us to bring just about anything we wanted to decorate and make it comfy for her. Placing a loved is tough. You feel a lot of guilt that you can’t do it all. But Kane has an easy system. You can go, sign some paper work, and take your loved one out for the day. Coming back is even easier. Many good spots around the building you can sit and talk. All the staff smiles and says hello. Every time I said my good byes and left, my mind was at ease knowing she was being taken care of. Fingers crossed I don’t have to be back anytime soon lol, but if I do…Kane would be my first option. Thank you to all of the staff. Gram loved you all. And that’s all we ever wanted.

Where do I start, the place is honestly not bad, but there are a few things they REALLY need to work on! The Director of Nursing is a Terrible human being. They treat their workers especially the CNAs like garbage. I was shocked at how Coleen talk to her workers. She yelled and called them name. I've witnessed a few of the Nurses being racist to a resident. They tend to neglect the black residents everytime I visited my mother. I feel really bad. The kitchen serve a lot of sandwiches for some reason. Especially on the weekends they don't really cook for the residents. The facility seem to also have alot of residents falls and accidents. But honestly the WORST MANAGEMENT EVER!! also short staff.

My step father is in Kane Scott the rehab unit was good they moved him to skilled it all went down hill I was here 6 hours not even 1person checked on him. The next day he had to go to bathroom we waited over half hour even went to talk to a nurse she said 1min which turn into another 15 he had to go so my Mom who is 85 and I took him ourselves we got him back in bed then someone came and said change of shift sorry I saids not 45 minutes ago

Spartan surroundings, but the best and most thorough Rehab facility after hospitalizations in Allegheny County. Therapists are great. Nursing staff is very very good...and caring ❤TY to everyone involved in my rehab.

Never put ur love one in there..they r always short handed,the word of the day is (I don't no)!! Everyone always on the phone patients never get attention no activities also two CNAs that's everybody's job the janitors always on point nurses supervisors don't do nothing except my mother fail but she didn't someone put their hands on her she look like a battered woman my mother is almost 80 years old they're not taking care of her she had ants in her bed do not put your logo on there that's not a place for elderly people
