JMK Community Health Center provides professional and compassionate care. FNP Kidd is an excellent, competent, helpful, reliable, and courteous provider, the ladies working the front are very patient, nice, and helpful. One of the nicest clinic I’ve ever been to.

I am writing this review based on my sister's experience there. She has had appointments and had to wait hours to be seen, if she decides to stay that long. She says the Dr. is good however, the staff not professional in terms of office safety practices especially during covid. She indicated last visit in office, it was warm in there and she complained and was told by one of the staff members that they get complaints from patients when it is too cold in there. During this same visit, she informed them she would wait in the car and they were going to call her when ready to be seen. Altogether she was there over 2 hours and had to call them and they were not ready yet. She got upset and informed she was leaving, they gave her another appointment, but next availability for june 2021. Not sure what her appointment was for, however what good is an appointment when there is a possibility of not being seen for hours, waiting under poor patient safety conditions and there is overbooking which could lead to not being seen at all depending on reason for office visit.

Provider is great. But staff is absolutely terrible. Do not take your kids, or yourself here. I called 12/2022 to make an appointment for my 2 year old. And was told to come in 01/15/2022 for a lab test.
Soon after we got there, front desk tells me “sorry we FORGOT to call you and let you know you’re supposed to go to the Childrens hospital DTLA” I already had a growing concern regarding my child’s health and so I asked if there was anyway we can proceed with the tests today, bc I didn’t want to have to wait and make another appointment I wanted to know if there was anything going on in my sons body. Front desk says yes and tells me we can take the test here and she will send it over to the lab. She proceeds to take my sons blood and that was it. On the way out, I asked when I would get the results and was told “the provider will call you if anything comes up. If nothing comes up, you won’t receive a phone call” months go by, no phone call. Assumed everything was good with my son.. I call JMK to make an appointment for my son who just turned 3. Just for a regular physical. And something in my just asked about my sons lab results. Lady on the phone says “wait we have results for you. We will call you on Monday bc the provider isn’t here to tell you” 2 MONTHS LATER? So if I hadn’t called and asked, I wouldn’t have been told regarding my sons lab results. So Monday comes. I wait ALL day for the call. NO CALL. I call twice to remind them I was supposed to get a call and they said just wait. It is now Tuesday 03/15/22 and still no call yet. I’m. No. Longer. Taking my son to this unprofessional place.

Very disappointed &dissatisfied with the clinic. They do not accept walk-ins even tho you are assigned to the clinic. They tell you to go to ER for ear infection symptoms. Seriously? So go pack the ER when they could just easily see you and give you antibiotics. I was the first person at the clinic no it was not Full or a line just me.

This place is a joke! Very unprofessional! Received wrong medication and when I called to get a new prescription they kept giving me the run around! Had to go to urgent care because I needed to take medication asap and they couldn’t be bothered to fix their own mistake! Changing dr immediately!

Doctor is extremely nice and always pays full attention to what is wrong, I wouldn't feel rushed or as if they wanted to get me in and out, The staff is extremely friendly, But i'm mainly happy with the doctor, She's an amazing sweet person.
