Doctor said he would refill prescription and pharmacy said he never sent it in. This was on a Monday. Finally got through the phone line on Thursday and I was told they did not know why the doctor did not submit it but they would submit it by end of business day. It’s now Friday and pharmacy said they still have nothing even though they themselves have attempted to reach out to them. I called and thankfully I was able to get through the phone line . I was told they don’t know why it was not submitted again and the person I talked to yesterday is out. They will submit today and again I’m being told that it will be done by end of business day. One week of this is not acceptable. I would not recommend this clinic, pain doesn’t wait and I would hate for others to have to deal with this while in pain

I filled out paperwork and was placed in room immediately. The physician was friendly and thorough. I appreciate that they respected me and my time.

I drove for an hour to see a dr. I don't even know which one it was .
My appointment was so brief!
This was very disappointing, as I was trying to speak, I was interrupted and told what treatment would be given me.
That was it!
I won't go back to this office in Colton, California.
I would travel twice as far to get quality care.

Terrible front desk service, providers are okay but the office staff is not and the follow up is terrible. I have been waiting for a procedure for 4 months and this is a pain management clinic so if you’re there is because you’re in pain but doesn't sink in to the office staff. Will not be going back.

I like the Dr's and the PA'S, but you can forget trying to get thru to them by phone. Their phones never ever answer & their voicemail is always full, so you can't leave a message for a return call either. If you need to get ahold of them, if you have an issue, you have to drive there to talk to them. They say it's because of phone issues, but they've been saying that for years, for years they've been having this issue. Makes me wonder if they just don't answer the phone. Otherwise, in all this time, I don't know why they don't get their phone fixed. If it weren't for this phone issue, they would get 5 stars. But being a good Dr's office takes a big ratings hit if you can't get ahold of them in times of need. If they ever remedy this phone issue, I will change my review to 5 stars. Til then... err

Changing my former positive review.

While Dr. Hesseltine is skilled, the placement of my NEVRO HFX implant proved problematic, in my left buttock. I was not given a choice! It’s painful.

The billing department has been unresponsive, failing to correct codes on the labs HE requested more than 1 year ago. After at least 10 calls without resolution, many of which were unreturned, I gave up.

Ultimately, I have been forced to pay the $100 lab bill to prevent it from going to collection and a credit ding.

I learned that his office would not send MY file to my new provider (I moved away) without using their outside referral and paying about $60 to get my own records. That’s a first for me! Does Dr. Hesseltine know or care? I wish he’d speak with me, but I was told that would not happen.

There are so many things wrong in this practice that I am unable to recommend him or his A&M Surgery Center.

Dr. Hesseltine, I’m here and will be pleased to speak with you. You have my number.

You keep sending me this for a review. Perhaps you will listen now. Here is what you ask me for! I can say nothing good about Dr. Anderson. He needs to retire!! His bedside manner is like Death Warmed Over. I would not have returned to this office, had I known I would be seeing Dr. Anderson. Changing offices for Pain Control is not a simple thing to do. It must be done with considerable thought and care. I am giving great thought right now, about leaving the care offered by your offices. My first visit back with your office, I thought I would see a P.A.. Instead I got
Dr. Anderson. I don't recall the exact words that he spoke. But, this is what I heard him say "So you were having problems getting your drugs. So you are back now". Such kind words just melt your heart. I am as a nurse. My license remains in an Active Status. Dr. Anderson is a very smart doctor. He is also perhaps the worst doctor I have ever seen, when it comes to bedside manner. And I been a nurse since 1983. Your office would be great without this doctor. As a patient, he is a nightmare. I'm sure that I will pay dearly for this review. I may have no choice but to leave now.

This medical office is excellent in patient communication. When you speak with the Doctor, they take the time to listen to your concerns. Also, sometimes the pharmacy was out of my medication resulting in extra time to locate another prescription being changed. Most Doctors do not take the time and attention to make the changes, but this Doctor called me personally to speak with me so he could make the adjustments. The staff is very polite, answers any questions as well and are very personable. I gave this Dr. office a 5. I would give them higher ratings if possible.
