If I could give zero stars I would. I would not recommend anyone to give birth with this practice. I am a mama with 3 children my first two children I delivered with this practice. The reason I would give this place no recommendation is due to some of the practices providers and the nursing staff when you go and deliver your baby. The labor and delivery unit needs an UPGRADE. This whole women's care facility needs an UPGRADE. If you are a mama wanting to feel comfortable and relaxed during your pregnancy and birth this is not the place. I had a midwife tell me if I get pregnant again I will miscarry...to my face! I HAVE 3 HEALTHLY BABIES! By God's grace. The nurses and some of the OBGYNS and midwives, are looking for their own comfortability during your pregnancy and labor and delivery and surprisingly postpartum care. With my first baby I had a nurse keep coming into my room reminding me an epidural is available I ended up getting it due to ME, (the pregnant women about to deliver a baby! ) feeling bad I keep moving my baby fetal monitor. Had to make sure the nurse had an "easy" shift. With this same pregnancy I had a OBGYN doctor tell me my water didn't break at 8 pm clearly when my water did break for me to come back the next morning and for the midwife to tell me my water did break.... Hmmm. P.S. I had group B Strep. Man if I would have listened to that obstetrician, my daughters health could of been in danger. When I went back in the next morning I demanded a recheck and tada my water did break. And when you read this your probably wondering why have your second baby there? And my answer to that is I was honestly being lazy and didn't want to take the drive to Magee or AHN.With my second delivery experience I now have a toddler and after I had my baby my toddler who I haven't seen in two days came to visit. Well a nurse was not happy at all that she dropped some goldfish on the floor in my postnatal suite. Well this was amazing considering I only became a mom of two just 48 hours ago. Feeling bad for a nurse again! Trying to not make this any longer than it has to be. If your a new mom or seasoned mom. TAKE THE DRIVE TO MAGEE OR AHN, DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME HERE. They are just looking to get an insurance payout from your prenatal care and birth. Go somewhere where they are patients, caring, and understanding of the changes you are about to encounter with your new little one. And if your made it this far in this review CONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancy and birth!

The OB coordinators tell you one thing and then do the complete opposite. I've been waiting since last Wednesday for Hanna to call back after she stated "let me work on this and I'll call you back this afternoon." Seems to be very disorganized as I was lied to once before this by the coordinators as well. Can't speak as to how the doctors are, I'm almost 12 weeks and have yet to see the doctor. Will be seeking care elsewhere.

They never call back. 1st time I was really sick, called in to reschedule my appointment. Pressed the number for a call back, and they never called back. 2 weeks later I get a letter stating I missed my appointment. Sorry, I'm not gonna sit on a phone sick and coughing up a lung waiting for someone to answer. That's why I choose to have a call back. 2. I called recently ( a week ago) to make an appointment, again requested the call back. And never got one. It's irritating when you have issue's going on and need to see a doc, but can't get in

** UPDATE **
Since this review one month ago, my last few interactions have been extremely positive.

Once my previous practice announced they wouldn’t be performing any more procedures at BMH, I turned to friends for recommendations of a great gyn. Hands down I heard Dr. Dobrzynski. My daughter had an appointment with her and she was fabulous! Unfortunately, she’s leaving or has already left the practice.

I’ve had to make some phone calls regarding meds for my daughter and they have not been returned promptly, I had to call back hours later for an answer.

During phone calls with the nurse, she verified what pharmacy we used, only for my husband to go there and have nothing called in.

The location is convenient but so far I’m not overly impressed. Unfortunately, we don’t have a lot of ob/gyn options in the area; which makes me wonder if that’s not half the reason for the nonchalance.

I loved every appointment I have had there. They took me in over half way through my second pregnancy and it was the best choice I ever made. All of the doctors are so sweet and they really do seem to care! I have not once had a bad experience here. I recommend it highly!

It seems like the doctors and midwives here are competent, but appointments almost always run 30 minutes behind. And the policies of the practice are very restrictive if you are looking for a less hands on midwife.
