Dr. Rochelle Akradi is a superior dentist, and she and her team create the best dental office vibe I’ve ever experienced. She knows how to assist patients who are vertigo prone; I am one of those. She’s not only knowledgeable but open to hearing the patient’s thoughts as well about managing vertigo while in the dentist’s chair. I had not one moment of vertigo when I saw her on 7/10 to get a cavity filled. The dentist’s chair can be a trigger for vertigo, but Dr. Akradi knows how to prevent that. Her whole team is great—Mackenzie, Amber, Tianna, and others.

Strange place. So I came here for a conversation about teeth whitening. I’ve saved up my shekels and I wanna treat myself, right? Well, first consultation I’m told I need to come back for a diagnostic and a cleaning (I make sure to ask, this’ll be one appointment right?) gotta book that out two weeks. I wait my two weeks and come for my diagnostic and cleaning and am told I have to have all this drama done to me. Laser and replace my old fillings with new ones. They’re acting like I’m steps away from deaths door- the lady tells me my plaque is going to give me Alzheimer’s! They’re acting like I’ve emerged from the desert having never seen a dentist in my life (my last cleaning was a little over a year ago). So at this point I’m frightened and anxious- and they take me to this little office to lay out my treatment plan, It’s like 4 visits at over $500 a pop for a grand total of $3k. This is WITH dental insurance. I say to the girl “I can’t afford this right now- can I just come back for a regular cleaning, and do all this other stuff when I can afford it?” The girl’s tone changes immediately she’s like “no, they can’t do that it’s not best practice. Does that make sense?” I’m alll “no; it doesn’t make sense but okay” (I’ve been around the block before). She says “I can go get the hygienist- so I’m like, cool go get her. The hygienist comes back and tells me it would be “unethical” to give me a cleaning without doing the laser and the filling replacements and all the other crud. I say “so you feel okay about providing me no dental care- but you don’t feel okay about doing just a normal cleaning”. And she said yes. Apparently nothing makes sense at this place.
She leaves and the finance girl has some pithy little comment she makes under her breath before asking me if I want to book which honestly was when I checked out. It’s one thing to stick to your guns like, do you girl- but to be snotty to me for asking questions, when it comes to a giant amount of money? I’m out.

I honestly never leave reviews anywhere but like, talking to people in my community everyone’s like “oh they were trying to bamboozle you:”. Which honestly sucks! If anyone knows of a decent family dentist give me a holler.

TL;DR this place probably rocks if you’re a richy rich - but if you’re “a normal” like me- stay clear because they will be rude the moment they discover you aren’t a rich person

Holger Dental is the best!! I’ve been going for over a decade now and each time I am impressed by their level of expertise, skill, and professionalism when it comes to not only the care my teeth receive, but the way I’m treated by the entire staff. You can really sense when a business/organization/clinic is well run from the inside out, and if I pursue my own business venture one day I will take heavy inspiration from the way they do things. This goes for both the Minnetonka & Minneapolis locations!!
