I visited Hieber's Pharmacy last week and tried out their soda fountain, acting on an ad for a mint-cookie milkshake.
They staff the fountain as needed, so it's important to let them know you'd like to get a soda or shake. That said...they do know what they're about.
Made with chocolate ice cream at my request, my milkshake had decent chocolate flavor and very strong mint (what I'd expect from a soda fountain!) along with some crushed cookie pieces based on the new special they were promoting. Cost about $9.50, and I got what I paid for: solid ice cream, solid flavor, good cookie content. All in all, a great "grasshopper" (cookies-and-mint-cream) shake, strongly recommend.

I’m so happy that I discovered Hieber’s Pharmacy. My local Giant Eagl pharmacy does not compound medications. A nurse friend suggested this pharmacy. They quickly responded to my inquiries, accepted my transferred script and made my solution. I picked it up in the Strip District store quickly and easily. They store is immaculately clean, the staff friendly and helpful. I’ll be back soon!!!!

This is the coolest pharmacy. They have a lot of unique gifts and personal care items. You can get your medications filled. If you’re sick you can pick up some medicine and a hand spun milkshake to sooth the aches. It’s such a cool store and worth a visit! You will certainly find something you need here!

The folks at Hieber's have been sooo helpful in getting my dog's compounded meds! They have been prompt in replying and have been easy to work with, making sure my dog liked the flavoring. So convenient in Oakland because they have a pick up at the back door so no need to hunt for a parking space! Will definitely be using them for refills!!

This awesome pharmacy runs like a well-oiled machine! Tired of waiting in line at your Giant Eagle, CVS, or Rite Aid pharmacy? And tired of them getting something wrong, or waiting on hold for half an hour just to speak with someone? I was, until I switched to Hiebert’s. They do it right. Switching your prescriptions to Hiebert’s is easy, they’ve got great pickup and shipping options, and their phone app works perfectly. And if you have any questions, their expert pharmacists will competently and fully explain. I love that place – give it a try!
