Dr.Angie is by far the BEST dentist I have ever seen. She's a great listener, and is truly an expert in all things related to your mouth and how it reflects overall health. I feel so taken care of everytime I visit, from the wonderful front desk, to the hygienists, and then the dentists. I really love that they have a health centered approach to get to the root of problems you might be having.

Dr.Angie has helped me a TON with TMJ pain (no longer have), snoring at night, and more. Highly, highly recommend this office for all your dentist needs!

Yesterday's appointment for cleaning with Crystal exemplifies the wonderful service that I have received from Health Centered Dentistry for approximately 30 years. I seldom write online reviews so you should know that one must clear a very high bar in quality of service for me to do so.

Dr. Laughlin has been at the forefront of his profession, way ahead of the curve in whole body dentistry, which is now becoming more mainstream in certain ways, but even now he is still way ahead of the curve. Everybody there is always very friendly and efficient. Yesterday I mistakenly thought my appointment was a half hour later than it actually was. So as I was just leaving home, I received a call from my hygienist, Crystal, indicating what was going on, then out of the goodness of her heart she sacrificed her lunch break so she could fit me in once I arrived nearly a half hour later. Many thanks, Crystal, you are the best, like so many of your colleagues. You saved me a lot of trouble and made my day!

I also needed a new Waterpik yesterday and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that they had it on hand at a price 10% below what Amazon was asking. Over the years I have been to so many integrative health care practices that sell supplements and other goodies supposedly for the convenience of their patients. But in most cases, they gouge you on price for this convenience. So it is in keeping with the high standards at HCD that they are truly just trying to provide convenience rather than profit. Not to say that Dr. Laughlin has not done very well for himself financially. But he has earned every bit of this success and has trained a lot of good, younger colleagues to take over if and when he retires.

Another example of Dr. Laughlin's generosity is when about 10 years ago, several years after trying repeatedly but unsuccessfully to convince me that his MRO's (mandible repositioning orthotics) could help with my mental health by repositioning my jaw to provide more oxygen to my brain, he told me he was going to just give me a gift for which I would otherwise pay $500 and made me a pair of MRO's at no charge. This gift did not turn out to be the Eureka that we hoped for, but I will always remember his good intentions, and it is possible that they did actually increase my SpO2 but not enough to make a difference without some other brain hacks as well. Technology has advanced to the point that I could probably answer that question by comparing my SpO2 averages measured nightly by my Oura Ring, before vs. after.

I drive a solid four hours round trip to go to Health Centered Dentistry. If I had to drive four hours one way I absolutely would. I cannot sing their praises enough. They have gone above and beyond time after time. During one visit, I was the last patient and Dr. Laughlin and staff stayed almost an hour late to make sure that the procedure was not just done but done perfectly. Recently, Dr. Louie and assistant Jade saw me in an emergency. They were both absolutely thorough and explained everything with great care. Dr. Louie gave me options even when it was not in the interest of his own financial gain. I am so impressed by his integrity! This practice is the best of the best in dentistry! So grateful for the care that they provide.

I am blessed to have found this outstanding dental health office. They not only are concerned about my oral health but how oral health affects the rest of my body including my mental and spiritual health. I have learned so much about how to take care of my mouth here- things my former dentist of 30 years never mentioned! I made the appointment here for consultation and care for amalgamation removal and have gotten so much more. My hygienist Jayden even generously offered me one of her personal books to take home so I could learn more. All the little extras have made a big difference such as a suggested detox protocol, aromatherapy during procedures, and always making me feel comfortable. I have been telling people of the wonderful benefits of oral care that I have experienced at Health Centered Dentistry and highly recommend their approach to health.

Highly recommend. My daughter went for one of her regular appointments and Doctor Louie and a Dental Assistant named Abbey helped out with the amalgam removal. Although it was her first time with Abbey, she spoke highly of her and how easily she had made her feel comfortable. This is something we hugely value and it helps to know she is in good hands.
