The community is well-maintained, with clean, comfortable spaces and plenty of activities to keep residents happy and engaged. The staff genuinely cares about each resident, and they go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels at home and well-cared for. The staff at Hawthorn Court are always very caring and supportive of the residents. They provide a professional atmosphere and care that is tailored for each resident, but also provide group activities that are for residents and families that are very enjoyable. They really do look after them as if they were family. I am very happy that my mother has found a home here.

For those of you looking for memory care for your parents or spouse but are unsure about a facility. I want it give a great recommendation to Hawthorn Court Memory Care. Sorry its so long but I know how hard it is to find care for parents and I am trying to give information on the importatnt areas.

MY DAD JJ McCarthy was at Hawthorn Court for about 18 months and had a great experience. As he went through the various stages of Alzheimer’s we could no longer care for him at home safely and effectively. He didn’t want to go to a facility but when he came to Hawthorn court they worked to make him comfortable and acclimate him quickly. We were uncomfortable not caring for him ourselves and worried but as the days went on he became part of the community and we felt comfortable we fel he would be cared for in the same way we would. He was clean, well fed, and cared about by the staff and thefriends he made.

The facility is very clean, homey, and comfortable. They have high windows which provide a great source of sunlight which makes it constantly bright. The rooms are a good size, clean and cozy. The food is said to be great.

The staff is knowledgeable , respectful and excellent overall. They are a very caring group and on top of the little details for each resident. They kept my dad busy and engaged which made him happy.

The medical staff is top notch and will accommodate patients needs as they go through the various stage. My Dad was diabetic and required some complex management at times and they were on top of it.

My Dads Journey came to an end yesterday but in these last days the staff took care of my Dad and our whole family too. They cared very much for my Dad as a person and were sad to see him go.

We will forever appreciate Hawthorn Court and highly recommend the facility.

My mom was at Hawthorn Court for over 2 years. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the care givers and management staff. The care was outstanding. The people who work here go above and beyond. They always made my mother comfortable and her face would light up anytime one of them went by.

My mother did not like to be alone so staff always spent time with her. One day I went to see her and she was in a staff meeting with the staff. This is just one example of the extraordinary care she received.

I never was concerned about leaving her at Hawthorn Court. All her needs were met for the 2.5 years she was there. The extracurricular activities were also outstanding. Every day they had something planned to entertain the residents.

I highly recommend this place for your loved ones.

Putting my mom in a memory care community was an extremely tough decision to make. While she had in-home care, I looked for the right community where she could not only survive, but thrive. I feel so fortunate to have found Hawthorn. I like the smaller size and the individualized care. At home, my mom was bored. At Hawthorn, My mom is busy with activities throughout the day that keep her engaged and interested. And she likes the food, especially the desserts. The staff really does work with each resident to help them flourish and use the skills they still have. Everyone I have met there is caring and fun. I like keeping up with what mom is doing on the Hawthorn Facebook page. A special shout-out to the Marketing Dir. Vanessa and the Exec. Dir. Stacey who both have gone above and beyond to help my mom assimilate, make friends, feel useful, and thrive in her new home. I was so terrified to make this decision and the people at Hawthorn have made it all so much easier. They truly are wonderful.

Hawthorn is a great place to put your love ones. My boyfriends dad was there for 7 years and he was taking good care off. The caregivers ( Filipino’s ) are the BEST! The whole staff are great. Thank you for taking good care of Jack!

Excellent Staff, front office, care givers, nurses, chefs and facility workers are all top rate. My loved one tells me almost daily how much she appreciates the care she is given and I see daily all that they do for her and the others who live there. They are kind and care for her as they would a member of their own family and she and we feel that and so appreciate it. I am very grateful we found it a year ago, it is making this hard road a little bit easier to travel.
